Aircraft carrier for TF2...
Whoa, Bay, settle, settle. Now let's not do this. It seems... like a bad idea. I mean, an aircraft carrier?!? Are you crazy? Who could be that big? Hopefully not Unicron... WHOA... NO... BAY YOU DIDN'T!

Unicron would suck in that role, but I was just watching the end DVD for Armada, and Tidal Wave would kick ass!

No Unicron ever, in any form. Keep the Decepticons as the bad guys.
Oh, and I like the air craft carrier idea. Tidal Wave!

If he does do an aircraft carrier (and he has hinted that he's really pushing for it in TF2), more than likely it'll be a Decepticon with a good chance for the name "Tidal Wave." It probably won't be Broadside (the only other aircraft carrier TF I know) 'cause the Autobots have no need for an aircraft carrier.

Maybe they'll use it as a party boat

Well, autobots can't swim.... So maybe they'll use it as a sea transport..sto_vo_kor_2000 wrote:Dragonslayer wrote:If he does do an aircraft carrier (and he has hinted that he's really pushing for it in TF2), more than likely it'll be a Decepticon with a good chance for the name "Tidal Wave." Be a big meteor when it hits... what with a US super carrier weighing in anywhere from 90 to 100,000 tons.
Maybe that tsunami a few years ago was him landing in the ocean.

Do I need to get my big stick and beat you with it and once again remind you this movie isn't G1?

Yes it is

*lol* I agree. I think Bay is trying too hard to top himself. I'm serious, all he has to do is create a story with no plot holes and he already has his first movie beat. Do we really need anything this big?!?! Though I am tempted to see how such a big Transformer could transform in the water... hmmmm.... no. I lied. I'm all for big bad fighting robots, but there has to be some sort of limits. Besides, I bet Bay is just looking for an exscuse for the military to hand him over an aircraft carrier to play with. Hows about focusing on the story and plot of your movie Mr. Bay. Please?

I agree. No Unicron, please. I like my good old Autobot vs Decepticon fights. Besides, with him this just has "End of the World" plot written all over it, and I am so sick of those.

And surfing. Don't forget surfing.

*snicker* Who honestly thought this was a good idea?

What's wrong with it? I have to ask, are you crazy? This is Michael Bay. Have you seen Armageddon? Are you familiar with the man's reputation.
Who could be that big? Let's see, besides Unicron, who is much bigger, there's Metroplex, Omega Supreme, Trypticon, and let's not forget the actual air craft carrier character: Broadside. (Of course, he was pretty stupid.)
And that's G1 alone. I'm not familiar with any other characters that big.
So here we have a Michael Bay movie, with the potential for a huge robot like that, and you think it's a bad thing?
Buy my RiD toys! They're awesome, I promise!!!!

I think that if there are any problems with the sequel then an aircraft-carrier Transformer will the be the least of them.

If it was done well, or at least decently, I think an aircraft carrier character would be pretty cool. And BTW, there are smaller carriers. Like the one below:
While technically an amphibious assault ship, it's still a carrier, of sorts.

If its a decepticon,it would make sense for it to be a WW2 era
carrier. It would be the only time a aircraft carrier could be lost at sea with little attention being drawn to it.(seeing how the 'cons destroy what they use as a alt mode)Nowatdays it would draw a lot of attention to lose one of those.

I hope it happens. There could be an entire scene of him transforming, while smaller Autobots and Decepticons fight ON him, struggling to keep footing, etc.

Plus we've seen pics of said potential aircraft carrier. And If it's a party boat, I was thinking something along the lines of the Love Boat, maybe?
