Why does everyone think the Fallen

is an actual character? Can you run that by me again? I would have thought it obvious that it means the fallen decepticons?

According to tfw2005.com Infomation sheets that were given to theaters along with the teaser poster explains that the Fallen is "asleep under the prymirds in Egypt."

I would count on being disappointed then. So far the only thing even remotely resembling comic/cartoon semblance (aside from being transformers and some color scheming) is Prime's voice being Peter Cullen.

It's a movie series about transforming robots from space, based on a toyline from the '80s, so I don't think credibility is a problem. Even so, The Fallen isn't about mysticism any more than Unicron and Primus are.
I'm split on Unicron; I'd really like to see him in it, and I'd really hate to see him in it. Like, 50/50 both ways. It's be really cool to see, like Galactus, but it would also be really bad for the character, like Galactus.
