I'm pretty sure they did use that one- watch carefully during the execution scene when he laughs. Looks just like that concept.

Sly's right, they definitely used it. When I first saw that image I hated it because ROTF SoundWave didn't have so much a mouth as he a bunch of mandibles and a faceplate. But in the actual movie it actually looked really good.

When I think about, he looked cooler in Dotm than Rotf. But he should have a dark blue colour. And a decepticons logo in the middle
