Over the last 45 days or so, I have bought a Predaking reissue, a vintage (takara) boxed set of original Predacons, a Takara Abominus giftset, 2 MP-02 figures, an MP-03, a Hasbro Defensor giftset, an MIB Hot Rodimus, an MIB Rodimus Convoy, 2 Kiss Play Hot Rodimus', THS 01 and 02, a Japanese BW Clear Convoy, 3 Binaltech Skids, a couple of Binaltech Hounds and Streaks, an MP Megatron, 2 reissue Perceptors, a reissue Kup, a G2 Grimock, and a set of BW reissues (for Ryan's galleries).

Still can't find a Grand Maximus, though.

I really don't want to fork out 270 bucks. However, how can I pass up a MIB Brav Maximus for 270 shipped??

On a brighter note, woohoo, I've wanted one of these MIB for a while now. Just wasn't ready to take the plunge just yet.

I got one MISB for $175, shipped from BBTS when he came out in like 2003-4-ish.

He has a day job and cuts the grass for me outside. He also scares my Husky.

He is ****ing HUGE! You will NOT understand until you own him. Stand MP Prime, G1 metroplex in front of him. He laughs at their lack of hormones during puberty.

Aparently, Brave Maximus drank more milk than all of the other Transformers growing up...

He stands tall in front of MP Megatron, and Megatron whinces in fear like a little *****.

He is just over 2 FEET tall, from foot to the top of his head.

He is my centerpiece, and well worth the price you might just have to pay. But don't pay more than $300+shipping.

Totally agreed. The sheer size does not hit home until you see him DWARF the MPs. Put MP Prime, G1 Prime and Max together and then it really hits home.

I just sat him on my coffee table and stared at him for like 30 min. Worth every penny. Came to 278 including shipping, so not too much of a premium fter a couple of years, luckily.

A PUBLIC SERVICE MESSAGE TO EVERYONE FROM ZOD CONVOY:

Maximus is, for lack of a better word, the manliest Transformer in the world. Every one should own one. Seriously, save your money, don't buy any Movie toys (don't worry they'll all still be there until marked down) and buy a Fort, Grand or Brave Max. I suggest Brave as his colors are best. The tower looks like a building at night and adds a real sense of skyline. And the Megatron Megabolt looks good on him for an added Decepticon threat. Seriously, you will not be let down. And you won't have to complain about the crappy Bayformers. Seriously I have Barricade, Bumblebee, Jazz and Wreckage and the only one that didn't let me down is Frenzy, the radiator from Hell.

I've heard that Megs can sit on the Max as a replacement head if you pull off his legs. Anyone got pics of that?

BTW, didn't realise just how BIG that fool is before that pic with teh MPs. Just on ething to say to that:

It is just so true, every word of what you wrote. After I bid on mine, I paniced at the amount of cash. Then when I got it, I remember thinking, if I had to sell every TF I had so that I could buy one Brave Maximus it would have been a greeat decision.
