So I have nothing to contribute other than: MP Star Saber blew my mind with all of his intricate gimmicks and storage when I watched the video reviews of him, something that hasn't since MP 1 came out to US retail

There was a previous article where on of the designers of MP showed his Galvatron cel item. Back then, without dvds/bds they had to depend on the cel when they design G1 figs.

That being said, Star Saber is nearly a virtual carbon copy of the anime version. heck, if you saw the original SS and his art in TF Generations mook and compared to the anime, there were a lot of liberties taken in his transition to anime compared to the G1 toy.

MP-24 is simply marvelous

Surely, the title should be "Top 5 Masterpiece Transformers", as "Best" is a superlative, and as such, does not require any modifiers?

To contrast, we would not write "Top 5 Worst Masterpiece Transformers".

And anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the MP03 Seekers are quite pricey these days. I look up what some of my pieces are worth from time to time for fun, not for the idea of selling and making money, but basically to go "phew... glad I'm not looking to add it to my collection for that price!". So if you got something good, hold on to it unless your collecting habits have severely changed.

I do that too. And like you say, it is all about the Phew, and not the need to sell. Because in case i didnt own it and I wanted it, that would be the amount of money I would have to fork out. Which is why I always get a bit sad when a toy breaks on me even ever so slightly. It means that I cant look at thoselistings and go Phew because they are for complete toys and not ones with some breakage

Oh and i bring up breakage since i broke my MP 03 Ghost Starscream.

How much paint is on Ironhide btw? Is it like everywhere there is red? If I were to want to get him or Ratchet, I wouldn't want to scuff him up on the first week.

I carry him around in my work bag to transform him in transit. He hasnt scratched yet. He is painted everywhere he needs to be and the colour match is so good that I cant tell what is cherry red plastic and what is cherry red paint.
