I've had over clocking In my hand and I've seen the full pic of Titan returns blurr in hand and I tell you With 100% fact that they are not even remotely the same mold. Over clocking is also a voyager/ mp scale while tr blurr is a deluxe. They're completely different molds.

Well, now this same weibo user has given us a full image, pinch yourselves, of Brainstorm's vehicle mode. Let us know if you think this retool works!

I am trying to figure out what characters this could be repainted into. I am speculating that this could be mostly meant for another character.

I can understand that a bit. I wondered when I first saw TR Optimus Prime and especially when I read that his Headmaster is Apex and not Orion Pax.

Why did you think orion pax? My thought was either hi-q or Ginai (which is a huge stretch admittedly but I like to be optimistic)

Well, at a minimum of 2 uses per mold, he's already taken care of, him and blurr

Maybe they could actually repaint him into an actually new character, maybe redwing can finally be a thing

Did we need another trailbreaker? Or Sunstreaker? Or Cyclonus? Or Voyager Prime? Do we need another Skylynx when the G1 is perfectly fine and the Encore is still available for not that much? This gives people another option if some people care about scale. Hasbro doesnt care if they released it before. They get a whole new toy to be on the shelves without the need to do a new mold. At least it looks like Brainstorm.

I say the more toys the better. People can then pick and choose which they want and if they dont want one, then they can save the money. Just like always.

Plus the hasbro one is a headmaster, whereas the other is a regular blurr.

oh now now now now now! your just arguing semantics! coz you know dam well they're using characters in this line that weren't originally Headmasters!(Optimus Prime, Blaster & Soundwave to name but a few).

And just cause they look alike means nothing.

THEY'RE FROM THE SAME BLOODY MOLD PAL!(albeit with a bit of a retool) or are you just willing to refuse to accept it because it's ME that your talking to? coz had it been someone else that had made a similar comment....then you might've said something along the lines of "y'know...you could be right about that"(or certainly a more positive response) & then proceed to proverbially pat them on the back.

While Instagram might be a place filled with pictures of meals and duckface selfies, it will now finally have some awesome stuff in terms of official Transformers Images from Hasbro. Fellow Seibertronian AZT found this interesting announcement on the official Transformers Facebook page:

It’s high time the Transformers team gets on Instagram. So Bumblebee is packing up the crew and snapping pics in New York to kick it off. @TransformersOfficial goes live this week with a big announcement and an up-close look at a certain Titan scale figure.

So keep a lookout for when the official Transformers Instagram account goes live since it seems this is how they will reveal toy images of Titan Fortress Maximus, who is without a doubt the "titan scale figure" they are referring to.

If he's a main character, then yes, he should come out early on with the rest of the main cast. I've only an issue with the subsequent repaints.

I'm just happy to get a brainstorm that will actually see wide release, unlike the voyager one. It'll be cool to actually pick up a brainstorm figure in stores with a headmaster gimmick that (hopefully) is fully functional this time around.

I live in the UK which doesn't always even get many of the figures, particularly late wave ones and I picked up Gen Brainstorm at Cambridge branch of Toys R Us a few months back and it was half price too. For me, any figure that appears in that Toys R Us in the past year that isn't RID or CW is surprising as all heck. The headmaster worked absolutely fine (the number on the back of the box confirms it was the later fixed version). I'd actually much prefer more of the original Headmasters in Voyager than shrinking them all to Deluxe. It's whats putting me off Hardhead. I'd much rather have him in Voyager so he can fit in my Voyager group of Autobots that include Springer, Sandstorm, Grimlock and others. Hardhead is probably gonna end up the size of my AoE Deluxe Bee and he really shouldn't. I like my Deluxes to be characters that are meant to be smaller than the norm (with Leader class for the ones the other way)

As far as the, 'if you don't like headmasters, don't remove the head' thing, to me the problem comes in when they make significant concessions in a toy's design to include some gimmick. The fact that Galvatron is a headmaster doesn't bother me, but I will be bothered if he has a springloaded crown/helmet that looks bad from any angle except straight on, and that eliminates any functional articulation at the neck.

That's basically my issue, I don't think they're spring-loaded, they were shown off in video's. While most, if not all of them will have y-axis rotation (left and right), none of them appear to actually have x-axis rotation (up and down) which is truly unfortunate, especially when they could have incorporated it into the headmasters

I'm also a Brit, but unfortunately I do not even have a Toys R Us that is even viable to get to. all my recent generations purchases have either had to be from Ebay or B&M Bargains I was able to get Roadbuster and Rhinox.
