I hope we get a Rung in power of the Primes and let's not kid ourselves it doesn't matter what he turns into in IDW. We've seen his alt mode, he's a key or a switch or lever to something and that will never be a toy. Just make him a car or a motorcycle or something. Even before Milne was told what his alt mode looks like he drew a design of him turning into a little car with a crane. It'd just be nice to have a physical representation of him. Shoot I'd even settle for a GI size Rung that's just an action figure anymore.

Seibertronian Silver_August has sent proof that the Transformers Titans Return wave 5 deluxe class figures have hit Canadian retail! The photo shows Windblade and Misfire, along with a receipt to show that these came from a Wal-Mart in Ontario. Although Twin Twist is missing from this particular sighting, expect him to also show up at Canadian retail very soon.

Talking of toys and rung, my favourite part about that is when it turned out the actual drill part was fake, it popped out when Rung transformed back like when a toy partsforms

I received Chaos on Velocitron today from Amazon. I quickly opened the box but didn't take the figures out yet since I don't have time to play around with it. I did notice some of the stickers on Prime are peeling off. Is this a common issue at all?

That has been an issue with all pre-applied stickers in the line. Voyager Optimus Prime, Megatron and Broadside suffer from it too.

"Retool" has become a game of semantics at this point.
For me, it's a 'retool' in as much as the toys still function the same, and are rather clearly based on each other.

100% agree, there is no longer a clear fan definition for retool. So it can be a retool or not in anyones opinion. Since toys are all designed at the same time and the release schedule is no longer indicative of what was designed first, I feel the term is obsolete. The truth is these 2 toys share the same design and structural skeleton along with the same legs. Anything said beyond that is whatever a fan wants to say Its definitely a cost saving measure, just as retools of the past.

So this Overlord and Sky Shadow only share the tank module, plus the chest piece of the Titan Master (which indicates it's gang-molded). That's hardly anything new within Titans Return.

Those forearms, they look like something you would expect on a Unicron trilogy toy or early Optimus Primal. Their mass makes them look cheap. Which is a shame because everything else looks great. Also, if thehead doesn't have to come off, why did they have to do the headmaster gimmick? I know its the line play feature but it isn't utilized. At least Overlord has his powermaster ports.

Just because you don't have to take it off doesn't mean there aren't reasons to -- like any other TR figure the Titan Master can pilot the alt mode. Both vehicle modes in this case. And, naturally, manning the base mode.

Feh. For some reason, the areas I haunt seem to be under some kind of huge delay in terms of transformers deliveries. I still haven't seen Six Shot or many other figures that should have been out by now. With some figures, they're current. With others, we never see them at all. With some, you see to dang MANY of them and no others. Wish they'd balance better...

I own Black Shadow and do love it a lot and while I like Overlord even more as a character I have no intention of getting TR Overlord. Much like TR Sixshot I'll stick with my Mastermind Creations versions as my definitive versions. Don't think I don't appreciate what Has/Tak is doing, for those not lucky enough to be able to acquire 3rd party versions I think it's great that there's now more affordable and plentiful options available. Especially when you consider that just a few short years ago the thought of Hasbro dipping into the well of Masterforce was practically unthinkable! I think they're great, so much so that I still got Quickswitch (and Black Shadow as mentioned) so I could enjoy the mold, they just won't be usurping the versions currently on my shelf.

Yea, as already said it's pretty common with any factory applied stickers, I highly recommend getting the Reprolabels for this set, big improvements for every character!

I think they're great, so much so that I still got Quickswitch (and Black Shadow as mentioned) so I could enjoy the mold, they just won't be usurping the versions currently on my shelf.

And plus that way you get to have all four look very different from one another.

I'm curious to see if they are in the middle of an update or if my computer is playing tricks. I know for a fact that Percy is new because I have been wanting one Tho sadly they are not on HTS' ebay shop because the free shipping benchmark is a lot lower. HTS would get a lot more money off me if they stocked their ebay page more.

Not seen a new toy in months - not even the legends some are getting. I've never even seen a kickback or Bumblebee in the wild.

The Movie toys are strangely absent too - I wouldn't be surprised if it stays like this until August/ September and then it all falls from the sky. They really are that stupid that they'd wait until the kids are back at school before stocking shelves.

What's really crazy is that this is a fairly tame example. Overlord is essentially just a cosmetic change from Sky Shadow, not like how Broadside somehow managed to turn Alpha Trion's lion into a fighter jet. As someone who doesn't like to double dip on a mold, that's cheating!

To think, just a few years ago Hasbro would've just switched up the Headmasters every other wave.

Tell yourself they arent the same mold then. Because I dont think they are. Its just two different toys which have the same feet. Just like how all the g1 minibots had the same wheels

It's like clay they took the same plastic and just smooshed it a bit until it was a different shape!

Just picked up Windblade (the only one at TRU).

#71581 on the back of her blistercard.

What can I say?

1. Bellyachers will complain she is "too back heavy" etc etc.
2. Transform mode like a stripped down Jetfire etc etc
3. There are other more worthy characters etc etc

Windblade is such an awesome new(?) mold (with the prerequisite base mold adoption from either Scourge or Highbrow) which puts the original Windblade to shame!

Great looking Geisha/Kabuki face. Tight joints.

Feminine yet just enough warrior-esque.

Her Headmaster when you look at her long enough does look feminine too.

Her fans tilt but don't spin anymore.

The backpack nose cone I can live with! She is quite stable btw!

Original energon samurai and scabbard can fit into the narrow slot of her thighs. The round peg on the scabbard fits snug for her to carry it separately from the sword.

I can't wait for the Takara version six months from now!
