I was look at my energon wingsaber the other day thought wow his paint scheme looks alot like victory's starsaber. It really is amazing I wonder if there had orignal planed him as a homage to starsaber or something. What do you guys think is it possible or not.

I think it's a good possibility. The Energon line was very much like one big homage to G1. A lot of characters and their designs are very close to G1 characters.

Well since I never saw victory or really look a starsaber untill ryan put up his gallery even then I just glanced. Then I was fooling around with my energon wingsaber the other day really looked at the color scheme and thought this reminds me of someone from g1 era so I went through each of g1 era gallerys and low and behold it was starsaber. That is what happened.

yeah, even his design looks G1-nish compared to the other Energon transformers...heck, even the alt mode is like one big homage to the garish 80's!
