Hehe. Too funny. Just a loose complete Hotspot....for 275 smackers. Seller claims this is uber rare and only 5 have ever sold, and they weren't even complete! :lol:

I once had a Hot Spot that I bought off ebay and ended up having to sell it about a year later on ebay, so I must be one of the 5 huh? Just goes to show you that some people have absolutely no idea what they are talking about, or selling for that matter.

I feel so honored to be one of the five that got a complete hotspot. Imagine the time it takes to track down the fact only 5 have ever been sold on ebay. A truely dedicated seller.

This is a Genuine Original Generation 1 figure and is NOT a reissue of any kind. Made in 1986 by Hasbro It is in good condition, and is obviously 100% complete with everything pictured below.

This Item is very very rare. Only 5 of these have sold on eBay! Most of them were not complete with acc's. Buy IT NOW before its gone!

So most of the 5 were incomplete? What a maroon.

I reported it too. I have no problem with his asking price (maybe some sucker will buy it) but don't lie in your auctions. eBay is built on the principle that most people are honest.

Judging by the auctions he has currently listed and what has completed, he almost never sells toys. I wonder if it's just a dreadful lack of research involving his auction.

Yeah, this is an old arguement you know. Some people (gasp) just don't know as much as we do about Transformers, and some people can't tell and Optimus and a Hot Spot apart. I suppose it's possible that people might make mistakes and claim something is rare when it isn't just because they don't possess the knowledge of these toys. I think the price is more outrageous than the dudes' claim that Hot Spot is super rare.....
