and maybe you could show your collections by posing them in groups on a table with a single-color background (could be draped cloth or a large sheet of craft paper) with an overhead lamp for lighting - an ideal basic setup for toy photoshooting, if you don't have shelving yet.

Whenever I get a new robot, I just put them on my computer desk. When they get old, I put them back in they're boxes (if they're are any) and stash them away for later. Hehe!
