After seeing the latest episode of the new animated series I wonder if anyone would buy a arcee toy based of that figure.

Probably since she didn’t look that bad in the show, but I would rather have Titanium or Classics.

I would buy all three if they made them though, you can never stop adding to Primes harem! :lol:

The Arcee from the new animated series looks exactly like the one from g1. If I'm going to get that one toy it would be Arcee. Just like Armada it would be Unicron. And Cybertron the Primus - Planet Cybertron toy.

Usually if you see a Transformer in the show, they'll eventually make a toy of it.

And.. Arcee didn't look half-bad in the toon.

Probably not...
Just have never been impressed with either of her modes.
I'd get all of the other figures before her, and right now I don't plan on doing that either.

I would get one as long as she didn't look like that titanium prototype hasbro made.

But judging by how closley the other toys have looked like their animated models, Arcee should be pretty good.

Oh hell yeah! Absolutely.

Finally getting a real fembot that's NOT a motorcycle? Hell ya!

And Animated Arcee had guts. She told Ratchet to wipe her mind to keep her information out of Megatron's hands. Basically, she died, and was reborn as a blank slate. She was a war hero, essentially dying for her cause. I gained more respect for this version of Arcee in this one episode than I ever had for the original. So, yes, I would LOVE to have an Animated Arcee figure.

And to all the Animated nay-sayers and "haters" I just have to say: Animated or not, THIS Arcee is a cool character, and even if she's the only Animated figure you buy, you should buy her and display her proudly in your collection, if Hasbro makes a figure of her.

And you know what? For me, this episode ranks right up there with the Beast Wars episode, Code of a Hero, where Dinobot gives his life protecting humans. There's been LOTS of violence in TF over the years (it IS a war, afterall) but Arcee's "death" and the aftermath actually had more impact on me than Jazz's death in last years Movie.

Say what you will about Animated, but this kind of depth is usually just found in the comics, so it is VERY refreshing to finally have a cartoon that has at least as much depth as Beast Wars. (*IF* not more, since it could be argued that Beast Wars was just trying to ride G1's "coat-tails" while Animated is a truly alternate retelling/reimaging of G1.)

As always, that's just my take on things.

I'd argue that Arcee didn't technically die yet. I'll wait for a couple episodes, and if she doesn't reappear.. than maybe i'll be convinced she dies.

She got her brain earased, so she's dead, while her body is still alive her whole personalety is gon down the drain, all she was is now gone.

Oh I don't think there will be a toy based of her, I think she's nothing more then a little background charecter from Ratchets memories.

Why is it that arcee never get the props she deserves heck she is one of the more cool g1 figures and she never even got toy plus she has played a major part in season three original show. Also she is one of the more interesting characters in the new animated show even if she was only in the show for one episode it makes me wonder what the data she was carrying was and what kind of a toy hasbro would make if they do make a toy and what her alt mode was.

Why does everybody seem to have this Hardon for Arcee? It's not that impressive of a toy.

The point is we've never actually gotten a toy of the car mode Arcee. We got two different biker chicks, but never the G1 car mode or any car mode period.

no, I'm not going to slap down ten dollars for stupid toys that had a one episode cameo at best. Kid's probably won't even remember who she was by the time we even get toys of the main show characters so I'll doubt many will be asking for me and Hasbro would take the time to do them.

I'd certainly take an obscure one time character in a show rather than a slew of repaints for mainline characters.

Don't know toy companies are skiddish about releasing female characters for a "boys" line.

Look at Avatar, every character got a toy release except the two main female characters. Some toys even got wierd repaint/battle modes that weren't even in the show before. Eventually Mattel caved and made a prototype for Kitara but the line was cancelled due to poor sales.

CN has been on Hasbro for more female characters since they realize their demographics are expanding and girls are finding car robots cool as well.

I mean Lockdown is getting a toy in the first wave and that may be his only episode this season.

That's never stopped Hasbro from cranking out one figure after another of each character that would have appeared in two frames' worth of a scene that was never filmed for one of the Star Wars movies. :-P

Would I buy an Animated Arcee figure? ESPECIALLY if it's not a motorcycle again. :grin:

Maybe there will be more people asking for this figure after they release the spotlight comic featuring arcee. Because from the look of the animated character she is the same as her g1 counterpart.

I personally don't understand you guys being so excited about fembots in general. No offense, but... they're still robots.
