Sabrblade with some edits from WJ88 wrote:Kabaya, one of Takara's many licenees for Japanese Transformers supplementary merchandise, is apparently going to be making a new TF line of snap-together mini-models like they always do.
It's called Transformers: Block Wars, and there are four known molds to be in this line. While the four molds are Kabaya's usual down-sized model versions of larger TF toys, the particular toys are figures of the Cyber Series (which were simplified G1 themed Transformers not widely available).
Specifically, they use the designs of Cyber Commander Optimus Prime, Cyber Commander Bumblebee, Cyber Battalion Megatron, and Cyber Battlion Starscream.
But wait, it gets better. They're not only down-sized Cyber Series toys; they COMBINE! Yes, a combiner made of Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, and Starscream.
hinomars19 wrote:Oddly awesome! Love how they have done Starscream-he becomes a leg but his back plate is a chest shield!
(at the risk of being antagonistic....why are we warning people that pages contain anime girls?)

Usually about 25$ plus shipping.
Emerje wrote:Kabaya figures are nice, but remember that they're partsformers, not transformers, though that's more of a selling point for this set. Also the stickers usually suck and don't hold for long, especially over sculpted parts like faces.
I like the little ball joints everywhere, should be fun.

If the stickers are that bad, I might just not bother, I've always found stickers annoying. Do Kabaya toys generally look okay stickerless?
