Save the dates! TFcon Toronto – The world’s largest fan-run Transformers convention will take place July 13th to 15th, 2018. TFcon Toronto will return to the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale hotel in 2018. Discounted hotel block information and dealer bookings will be available in the near future. Hotel Discount
Online booking for the TFcon Toronto 2018 hotel block is now online. You can also call the hotel reservation department direct at 1 800 445 8667 and ask for the TFCON rate to receive the discounted pricing of $110 per room. This is the guaranteed best rate available as per our contract with the hotel. Please support the convention by booking the TFcon rate which shows that the convention is bringing business to the hotel and keeps us able to run TFcon.
The group rate is good for July 8th to July 24th. Please book early as the block will sell out. No deposit is required to reserve your room now. You have until up to 72 hours before your reservation to cancel your room if you can’t make the convention.

We are very pleased to welcome back James Roberts the writer of the fan favorite comic book series Transformers More Than Meets The Eye and Transformers Lost Light to TFcon Toronto 2018. Mr. Roberts will be taking part in Q&A panels and autograph sessions with the attendees of the world’s largest Transformers convention and will have select scripts available.
We are happy to welcome actor Hal Rayle to Toronto for his first ever TFcon. The voices of Shrapnel, Snarl, Pipes and Skuxxoid in Transformers Generation 1, fans of the 80s will also remember him as the voice of Deep Six in G.I. Joe and the voice of the Predator creature in Predator 2.

Toronto, ON. TFcon Toronto is pleased to announce that Garry Chalk will join its exciting guest line-up for 2018.
As a British-born Canadian Actor and Voice Artist, Chalk has provided the voices for Optimus Primal of Beast Wars: Transformers and Beast Machines, as well as Optimus Prime in the anime English dubs of Transformers: Armada, Transformers Energon and Transformers: Cyberton.
Beyond the Transformers Universe, Chalk was the voice of Dr. Robotnik for Sonic Underground and 30 other animated television series ranging from My Little Pony to Voltron Force and the modern He-Man and the Masters of the Universe series.
As an actor, Chalk has been in films such as The Fly II, Godzilla and Freddy vs. Jason. Through television, he played the recurring role of Col. Chekov on Startgate SG-1 and has also appeared on other shows ranging from Arrow through to Power Rangers and The X-Files.

We are very happy to welcome Transformers writer David Wise to the Toronto guest list this year for his first ever TFcon. As an American television animation writer, Wise was the single most prolific writer for the Transformers Generation 1 cartoon, penning fifteen episodes including but not limited to “The Secret of Omega Supreme”, “Microbots”, “Kremzeek!”, “The Key to Vector Sigma”, “War Dawn” and “The Rebirth”. Beyond the Transformers Universe, Wise was the head writer for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987) TV series where he wrote or co-wrote over 70 episodes and story-edited many more.

TFcon is pleased to welcome back Transformers comic book creator Nick Roche to the Toronto guest list this year. Nick is well known to fans for his work writing and creating the art for Last Stand of the Wreckers, Sins of the Wreckers, and most recently Requiem of the Wreckers. He will be selling prints and offering commissions to attendees all weekend long.
We are happy to welcome back IDW Publishing colorist Josh Perez to TFcon Toronto 2018. Transformers fans will recognize his work from the pages of series like Transformers Robots in Disguise, More Than Meets The Eye as well as Transformers vs ROM. He will be in attendance all weekend and offering prints and commissions to the attendees.
Aaron Archer has worked in comics, toy design and creative franchise planning (trans-media) for over 25 years. Aaron spent 13 years on the Transformers Franchise where he was creative leader and partner across feature films, toys, video game, publishing, the ride, and animation projects. During his career at Hasbro/Kenner Aaron worked on a variety of unique brands including Star Wars Ep1, GI JOE, Batman, Alien Resurrection, Jurassic Park 3, and many other classic toy-lines. Aaron continues to develop personal art projects and is active in the toy and entertainment industry. Aaron shares his creative experiences and creation methods during speaking engagements and can be seen in the 2018 Netflix documentary The Toys That Made Us.
