I'm fully expecting that the resulting Override is not going to be 100% accurate to the original by any means, I figure this'll be more like that 3rd-party figure that did Override from Rodimus, where it'll still visually look like Override but with different details. Someone on that TFW thread attempted to drawn an interpretation of how they think it could look, and then later reposted it on its own as fan art: https://www.tfw2005.com/boards/threads/ ... d.1220135/Overcracker wrote:Also, not sure how you go from this:

That seems like massive amounts of retooling to manage that.

If that drawing is what we get (which I doubt), I would be on board, although honestly I might get it no matter what just because I crave any kinds of UT updates.

While they have access to the names and the molds the figures are intending to use, they cannot confirm if Blurr is actually his Armada design or his Cybertron design, just that it is one of the 2.
Also, considering we now have the knowledge that a Selects Clampdown is coming, I'm assuming this Clampdown is going to either be a different deco from normal (like Netflix Deep Cover) or use the Siege mold where the Selects figure uses the Kingdom one (or vice-versa).
Same mold, but with different color schemes, head sculpts, and different accessories (differently sculpted guns and a Mini-Con vs a Cyber Planet Key), and one was an actual show character while the other was a cameo. I'm assuming of the two they would go for the actual show character over the cameo, which is what I would want since Armada Blurr is awesome and Cybertron Blurr is boring, but it's not a guarantee, so I wanted to make sure that possibility was reflected here.william-james88 wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:Update: one of the leakers has now confirmed that this guessed lineup I started this thread with is 100% the accurate line, albeit with one caveat. Those 2 blurs are based on the same mold so it's not like it would be a huge difference.

One for each year of the Movieverse's decade strong tenure. Here's to a few more explosive years!
So, will this be the first official Hasbro Transformers toy released at American retail stores to bear the name "Convoy"?Nemesis Primal wrote:Also according to a new post, they'll be calling RiD Scourge by his Japanese name Black Convoy to minimize name reuse, I guess.

This year's Walgreen's exclusive, Red Alert, did make it to the UK, and at brick-and-mortar to boot. I found mine at a comic book shop in Birmingham called Worlds Apart, but even then, he's still available on Hasbro Pulse UK. I think the same thing will happen with Minerva, she'll pop up in a few smaller retailers like Forbidden Planet or Worlds Apart, and have a listing on Hasbro Pulse UK. It's clear that Hasbro have learned their lesson from the Amazon exclusive Earthrise box sets, because it's a lot easier to get exclusives now than it was a few years ago.
For the figures listed here, I am interested in Minerva and Override, but seeing as Override is going to be an extensive retool of Studio Series 1986 Hot Rod, I'll wait to see how that actually turns out before I commit to buying one.

Are you talking about his size? Like Huffer/Pipes/Warpath in Kingdom?
