Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

one thing that bugs me bout animated is the cybetronian's behaviour - it's too humanised. absorption of human culture and being earth vehicles before comin to life with the allspark can explain only so much. i like my alien robots to behave like the highly advanced and intelligent alien robots they're meant to be.

But you forget something, Cybertronians are from cybertron, thats were the name comes from.
But all those Allspark made bots are not from Cybertron, meaning they are not cybertronian and not alien.
Sunstar wrote:They are indeed earth based Transformers and....in some or many respects very childlike. They are, in fact, children.
Children usually try to understand who they are, what they are and where they belong. And as I have seen children, they sorely want to fit in somewhere. They needed to be guided into right or wrong by some sort of person they can look up to.
Bulkhead was on the right track, but was not assertive enough with them. He did not wish to hurt their feelings, when they needed a good slap on the paddies. Optimus Prime and the others lacked the patience to "educate them" and instead figured that they'd be better off on their own or have someone else do it. Prime's "we're too good for them" attitude was what made them go to Megatron.
Indeed Blizwing and Lugnut were using them as bullies would. But Megatron did notice the potential. "Primes loss our gain". Also Megatron, being the bad aft con in this series, recognised their naivety and use that to his advantage. Rather than shove them out in the cold, he welcomed them in. He, unlike Prime, recognised that they were adept at construction. Something Prime would have easily been able to utilise.
Prime has not wanted anyone else in his "elite" group. This includes the Dinobots he wanted Destroyed. Probably wrekgar and Most certainly the Constructicons. Even if they wore the Insigna of the Decepticons, they could defect.
These characters are going through a rather interesting Psychological situation.
This was an interesting episode for sure. Definitely real life.
