Looks so so nice and nearly perfect IMO. I don't care that for them energon limbs at all. Makes me now want to actually get the set. Only E-combiner set that I don't have.

I hope that they mass produce this and maybe do something like this for the other E-combiners also.

They really do look very nice. And the modified transformation gives Superion a functional elbow from the jets leg.

Seibertron.com member Prime Evil alerted us that a member of the Transformers Fansite hk-tf.com posted images of what seems to be a custom adon set for the Energon Superion Maximus mold. The set seems to consist of two feet and two sets of wrists with hands. Please note that it is unclear to us if this in fact a custom project to see mass production or just part of a kitbash but do know that we will keep you updated on this.

That's a great idea. I always thought the dumb-looking "feet" ruined the gestalt mode, and the "hands" weren't much better. Now it looks like a cool badass robot with real hands and feet, but still maintains the vehicles as the limbs.

Ahh. That's a bit of a step backwards, if you ask me. Sure, they've got more human hands and feet, but they can't be swapped in different combinations. It reduces the potential for visual interest.

WOW Th.. Th.. Thats just too sweet! I would have to pick that up for sure! Now why couldn't hasbro do this? It fits so well and changes the look of the Combiner so much. I can't wait to go home and try out that arm configuration on my Energon version. I could see Universe Silverbolts gun fitting so well with this!

Maybe Hasbro should sub-contract their R&D to the fans...kinda like nasa does with their rocket building contests...the winning project gets a nice prize and the possibility of seeing their idea used in mass product.
