Mr Potato Head has been around long before Transformers were. He's a very old toy that's been given a new lease on life (like many of the characters from Toy Story) thanks to Toy Story.x

Just by how much Disney is becoming Transformers-related.
Tron looks like Cybertron to me.
Bumblebee Potato Head? I know thats Hasbro Original but then Disney uses it for Toy Story. This is not so much of a good reason
If you look hard enough in Toy Story 3, theres a kiddie Transformer in the crowd of toys in the whatever room with Lotso and Ken and what not.
I found a Transformer at a Disney World park. Optimash Prime O_o
Not so soon, but like 30 years down the road, I can just feel some kind of bond. Not a full partnership but, you know, some relation.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.

Tron looks that way because it's supposed to "look like" a video game from the late the '80s, the new tron movie is basically just a modernised and updated version from the original ascetics from the 80s.
Toy Story is also using many other toys:As for the Kiddy transformer, the whole point of Toy Story is that the toys are supposed to be convincing as in "yea, that's what my toy room has".
- Slinky Dog
- Etch a Sketch
- Barbie
- Ken
- Mr Spell
- Barrel of Monkeys
- etc...
Also I don't really how a partnership between Disney and Hasbro would be bad?

Disney is partnered with Hasbro. Hasbro makes all/most of Disney's toys.Gyrotron wrote:Yeah I know, it was just a floating thought: "What if Disney partnered with Hasbro." Its not likely. I just thought I'd see if anybody else had pondered this in the past. Oh well, I seriously hope they don't, and it's not likely, but, yeah...

No offense, but you're whole thought about Disney being involved in any of this came completely out of nowhere, since this whole news is about Hasbro Studios programming airing in Spain.
Besides, the damage has already been done with TakaraTomy's (now ended) Transformers: Disney Label toyline.
