They wouldn't fit in the deluxe packaging, thus Takara had to bump them up a category. We saw this coming a long ways away, I'm surprised people are surprised.

Didn't Hasbro make them fit in deluxe packaging? I was never interested in these but remember them on a card.

They were and did fit in the card BuT if you compare a deluxe of AEC to a deluxe of today you wil notice that they are more bulky in size. The United packaging was mde with the modern figs in mind.

My friend, I believe we have to agree to disagree on this one. I definitely see the logic behind the move but I say once a deluxe, always a deluxe.
