Then we would have no one to beat on.

1) Objective.
Both teams move at the same time from opposite corners of the map. The aim of the game is to obliterate the enemy from the map, or to destroy its base zone, until the planet is controled by 1 team who then choose to the next planet to attack.
2) Actions.
The term attacker refers to the team invading a declared target zone.
The term defender refers to the opposing team who compete in the mission that the attacker chose in an attempt to stop (or block) them.
2.1) Attacking.
Both teams decide on a 'commander' who declares their intent to attack a zone. These attacks take place over 24 hours and the zones attacked dictate the mission numbers that will count in the game.
..a) The zone attacked must be adjacent to one already owned (including the home base.)
..b) Armies cannot attack the enemies home base unless all 3 surrounding zones have already been conquered.
..c) Both teams have the option of forgoing their attack and concentrating on defending (below), which will halve the number of missions included in the battle but will mean there is more chance of preventing the opponent from making an advance in that turn.
...d) (t.b.c.) Any zone that is marked as an obsticle cannot be attacked or entered.
2.2) Defending.
Defending is an automatic response to the attack of an enemy, achieved by joining the missions relating to the attacked zone.
..a) Defenders cannot occupy a territory. If the invaded zone was neutral and the invason fails, the square remains neutral.
..b) If the zone defended was already owned by the defending army, then the zone remains under the defenders control.
..c) If the defender fails to defend a controlled zone and the attacker wins, that zone is lost to the enemy.
3) Continuing play.
After 24 hours the battle is considered to be over, the result is returned when possible and the commanders of both sides choose their next move; to attack or to defend. This continues untio the game has ended.
4) Scoring.
The game is scored by counting legal missions and totalling at the end. Each team is responsible for counting the missions in which they are the defender, and can spread the work out as withintheir team as they wish.
The first and last misison of the 24 hour period are picked by the 'commanders' and once posted are final.
Unless otherwise stated, each team only needs to gain more victories than the oppositon.
5) Ending the game.
The only way to conquer a planet is to destroy the opponents command base on that planet. This can be done in 1 of 2 ways.
..a) Conquering the 10 contested squares on the warmap.
.....i) All 10 squares must be owned by 1 team or alliance.
..b) Destroying the oppositions home base.
.....i) A teams base is considered to be a heavily guarded fortress that is inpenetrable to a single army attack. Therefore;
.....ii) A teams base can only be attacked if the 3 zones surrounding it are already held, you do not need to hold the entire map to lay siege to the opponents command base.
.....iii) Base attacks use all mission numbers of which the attacking team must gain 51% or more of the total number of missions in 24 hours to gain the win, only unopposed missions for the defender count.
(Yes, its meant to be damn hard, but i dont consider it impossible)
