Something looks off about the torso, like the transformation is too thin. Maybe it's the angle of the camera shot and the head looks like it's right on the front of the top of chest. I don't know. I have the iGear specialists and love them, but these look more cartoon accurate. I could be game for getting these, but really need to see how they look from a profile perspective. Also glad they don't have the shoulder wings like iGear's version.

I also have the iGear specialists.

Right now those are with my CHUG lineup, and since Ironhide and Ratchet were always a little taller, like Grapple and Inferno, they pretty much work in my lineup there.

I have customs of Alternator-style Ratchet and Ironhide in my MP lineup for now, but will look to replace them.

These could do it, but I'm still considering the rumor that these two are in the near-future for getting the official treatment.

So it is wait and see mode on these guys.

I think these guys look good.... but not perfect. It seems like they need to be beefier and the chest window in too ... tall? I dunno Something is just off. However, these are the best looking Ironhide and Ratchet we've gotten; barring maybe igear. However, I think most people are assuming Takara will be making these soon, and that they'll probably look better and be cheaper.

By the way, What ever happened to those preview shots of that BadCube Ironhide from like a month ago?

I have Igear's ratchet in my Stash pile ready to ship... May go for Ironhide here though. We'll see.

I didn't even know about that TFC one. I was referring to this, which I guess isn't even BadCube.

Thanks for the link, I'd forgotten about this picture. It looks like what Voodoo Toys is offering. If so, seeing that side/profile pic alleviates my concerns about the torso looking too thin.

Yea, that link sure looks like this one to me, but in 2 different stages of prototyping.

I'm keeping my eyes on this one, but with 2 easy & obvious repaints, I still think Takara will make these characters.

I am really starting to fall for the look of these two. The only thing that I keep focusing on is the feet and how the tops of the feet are the rear windows of the van...but I am undecided on whether I like, hate or am indifferent to it...

I still want my official Ironhide/Ratchet...I am thinking of getting Salus as a place holder for MP Ratchet... :-?

but I am contemplating getting one of Voodoo's figures for a comparison between the two molds.

Maybe I'll get on board with their Ratchet, that way I have the mold and he can stand in until they repaint MP IronHide into Ratchet

Wonder if these guys are still going to be made now. Who is the other company that is making Ironhide? or are these guys it?

I'm thinking that VT won't make these guys because of the announcement of the official versions, but there are still a few people that have voiced they would still buy the VT versions.

And TFC is introducing Ironhide in their Old Soldiers line. Very different take (re: not MP-looking) so I would think that he's still going to be made somewhere down the line.
