i love the look but can't stand the issue with the figure. so i have worked on fixing him. it was not easy but now i have to clean it up more but now the waist area now collapse properly. see the pics
Now here is how i did it, keep in mind i have to clean him up some more so he looks better. now also you have to cut away a lot of the plastic to get him to collapse properly and lock. now here we go.
Now from the bottom of his "upper torso" we will call it you need to cut away alot of plastic
now by doing this you now can get the black hinge joint to press up against the torso so now he doesn't have a gap. so it would look like this
now you need to cut away and drill alittle plastic out of the hinge joint like so
by doing that you now can get the hinge joint to lock on that long plastic tab that would normally just sit here cause now it fully goes through the opening.
now for the last part. the section that has the swivel joint for the torso articulation. now you need to cut off that little L shaped tab that comes out and flatten the area.
also you will need to cut some plastic off at this part of the join so brawl can be standing up and not leaning down. now note because of this the bottom section can get a little loose so you will need to put some super clue in between the areas that hold the pin for the joint and work in the glue so you can build up some friction in there so it hold better.
that's about it folks. i feel like this was the intent of this figure to collapse that way but it was like the design wasn't finished or someone got sloppy. any questions feel free to ask and i hope this helps. note: it does not affect the transformation or the limb modes.
