Mind wipe is the only one I picked up from that wave. It's the only one with a severely lacking deco the first go around. Expect wolfwire and the crocodile to sell out quickly for wave 2.

I've only seen wave 1 once at one Walmart and didn't buy them at the
time thinking they'd be easy to find like their other exclusives. That was a mistake. I've seen wave 2 restocked several times at multiple stores but knowing I can't easily get wave 1 I'm just passing on the whole line.

Pulse has some of the figures up now, available only to Premium until 3 pm in some time zone. I like how everyone has their head on except Highbrow so they don't show how loose the neck still is :lol:

Its even more ridiculous than that. Look at how his headless corpse is posed. Left leg bent at the knee and raised. Left arm pointing backwards, right arm raised high. These look to be digital renders at that, so it isn't like some photographer that has no clue how to use transformers did this. Someone with access to the 3D CAD files did this, likely while really really high.

It also looks like pictures from an eBay listing where some mom or pop is trying to sell their kids' old figures and doesn't know what they are doing :lol:

These are wonderful homages to the back of G1 boxes where you have an epic battle and all the headmasters are shown transforming.
I'm glad Hasbro had fun with it.

So, wave 1 of these guys just showed up finally in my area a little over a week ago. Im guessing by the images posted that wave 2 is the 3 new bots (Weirdwolf, Skullcruncher, Highbrow), and Hardhead is the repack? Either I'll see wave 2 around the end of the year, or never. I guess I should be fortunate. The only reason I got Weirdwolf in TR was because Toys R Us at the time had a BOGO free sale, I got him and Twinferno for free after ordering other items I actually wanted. Weirdwolf hasn't broken as far as I am aware, though he probably hasn't been transformed in 3+ years, and not handled except to move from the shelf he's on to dust it.

Even with my really good luck at finding figures at retail, I've only seen Mindwipe twice, and each time only one figure. I made sure to buy him the second time.

FYI - You don't have to handle it for it to break. Only 1 of the 2 hinge parts on mine broke, but it broke when it was sitting on the shelf literally untouched for months.

BBTS is taking pre-orders for both wave one and wave two. At 4 for $100 it's basically the same price as any other Deluxe sold today.

I got the BBTS email, and I have 4 from the first round, and have kept them sealed because the packaging is so cool.
I almost want another Skullcruncher and Weirdwolf to open…
Definitely on the fence about this one.
