That's what I'm saying, the listing says nothing about a redeco. What if it's just a straight rerelease of the Golden Disk figure by itself?Jelze Bunnycat wrote:Autobot N wrote:Given JT's track record it might as well be certainRodimus Prime wrote:Ok so since the actual listing doesn't specify "toy deco" it's just someone saying it and it's not certain.Nemesis Primal wrote:So far, all we have is the fact that a credible source of information posted a list of exclusives that specified a Target exclusive Toy deco Terrorsaur, and then a half-hour later the Terrorsaur listing in the article was found.Rodimus Prime wrote:Yeah I meant an actual official source. Besides, what else could a Terrorsaur redeco be, other than Lazorbeak/Neo Hydra/SG Terrorsaur?

GameStop in Canada got all the special packs for Siege, except for the "galaxy whatever" subline.

Has there ever been any example of an amazon exclusive getting a single release by another store?

Yeah, but that's not a 'single release' in the way he meant. He meant 'has there ever been a figure singly released from a pack on it's own from an Amazon exclusive with no redeco.'

No, that has never happened but that Punch Counterpunxh is a good example of the same exclusive having 2 separate releases with a minor difference in deco (ie, not being different enough to reference something dustinctive).

Maybe TR Repugnus and TR Grotusque? Single Amazon release, then part of a 2 pack by Takara. Did they had to he same deco?
1. I don't think that's ever happened before.Rodimus Prime wrote:That's what I'm saying, the listing says nothing about a redeco. What if it's just a straight rerelease of the Golden Disk figure by itself?
It was, yes.ZeroWolf wrote:william-james88 wrote:No, that has never happened but that Punch Counterpunxh is a good example of the same exclusive having 2 separate releases with a minor difference in deco (ie, not being different enough to reference something dustinctive).
But wasn't that amazon again though?
They had different color screws and a different paint finish, according to the wiki, but that was pretty par for the course with Takara releases of Hasbro figures at the time. I don't know that that's comparable to what is being suggested here.sol magnus wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:Maybe TR Repugnus and TR Grotusque? Single Amazon release, then part of a 2 pack by Takara. I dunno...that's why I didn't try to answer the question myself. I was just translating.
Jelze Bunnycat wrote:When it comes to exclusive decos, they usually stay with the store they were exclusive to. Molds can be exclusive to one retailer, but they usually end up with others in different colors.
Think of it this way: Hasbro released Terrorsaur for Amazon to sell, and only Amazon. If they were to release the exact figure, sans an accessory or two, they'd be shooting themselves in the foot with that retailer; not just at the moment, but for any future business. Break of trust, you know?

Then how is this Terrorsaur listing found on a Target computer?
Yokuryū Sentai PterrangerTranzilla wrote:Regarding the different Terrorsaurs, the Golden Disk Amazon version represents the show model or Japanese toy D-5 mostly red with the yellow beak.
The Target version will most likely represent the toy released for the American and other markets with the spots.
I'm glad we're getting Fractyl and hopefully we get Lazorbeak and/or Hydra. Wouldn't mind Strafe or Swoop/Terranotron repaints, either.

Seeing as they're using the "Black Convoy" name to avoid overlap/confusion with G1 Scourge, I'd say never.Rodimus Knight wrote:How long before they change the Black Convoy name to Scourge?

Titan class Black Zarak, Kingdom Blackarachnia, Selects Black Roritchi, etc. all say "Hi."Rodimus Knight wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Seeing as they're using the "Black Convoy" name to avoid overlap/confusion with G1 Scourge, I'd say never.Rodimus Knight wrote:How long before they change the Black Convoy name to Scourge?
Okay then do the yu-gi-oh path and call him Dark Convoy. I just don't see Black Convoy being a viable name for a villain in modern day America.
