Also, Road Rocket may or may not be female now, as they kept using female pronouns to refer to the figure in the stream. Though, it's also possible that the three simply weren't that familiar with Road Rocket as a character and just assumed the figure was female since it's retooled from Arcee. It's a little confusing.

And, Scourge's robot mode deco not being accurate was not addressed.

No, I think those 2 are it for Sunstreaker repaints.

We have 4 straight releases of Wheeljack and like 8 or so Sideswipe repaint / retools to various degrees, they could just make up a color. I just want the mold in some way.

A straight re-release of SS would also be fine by me.

Too bad pre-orders weren't available for this stuff. At this point, I'm just waiting for pre-orders on Black Convoy and Cosmos. The other stuff I'll pick up in Walmart. I just don't want to take the risk on those two.

I love that we are getting three fembots in this line. I didn't expect a new head for Burnout, but her head looks cool (and makes me think a Crosscut will appear at some point, possibly in Selects). Override does look better in hand, and though I know zero about Road Rocket, her head and deco give her a lot of personality- I think she must have always been the intended use of that mold, because she looks SO much better than Arcee.

Looks like the rumor of being a Warpath retool/shared engineering did actually pan out, looks like the arm/backpack setup works the exact same.

They did say that both he and Override were fully new molds. They usually let us know if they are partials.

It wasn't adressed but at least now the version he represents is adressed, and it's RID Scourge. Even on the box, so the Black Convoy listing was just a listing code and not the product's final release name.

As for Raodrocket, yeah they definitely kept saying She. I think they have changed the character's gender so that it works with the more feminin mold. Seems like female TFs can have all sorts of body types but it doesn't work the same way for males. I mean, there is a rather obvious breast plate on that Arcee mold.

My thoughts on the line:

> The biggest surprise is Scourge's naming. The leaks and store listings made it sound like they'd be going with the name Black Convoy to avoid confusion with Scourge from Rise of the Beasts, but because the movie has been pushed back so far perhaps they can get away with calling him Scourge now? Either way it's nice they went with the name Scourge, even though "Robots in Disguise 2000 Universe Scourge" is a bit of a mouthful isn't it?

I know making the deco worse wasn't why they did it and there was an actual reason, but that's still what they ended up doing regardless.

They did say that both he and Override were fully new molds. They usually let us know if they are partials.

I don't think they share any parts, but the engineering and how he transforms looks mostly the same to me, so either it's the same engineering and they didn't call it out because there's no shared parts, or it is new and they just took entire transformation steps from Warpath wholesale anyway.

What is not cool is this whole line is a Walmart exclusive. I fear I'll miss out on everything because my Walmart suck ass at having any Transformers on the shelves.

Walmart Canada sucks ass in general. They don't carry exclusives consistently. With marvel legends, they transfer their exclusives to other random retailers (so skipping them). Not sure if they will do that with these as well.

Just saw hasbro's reveal stream today and it seemed all they talked about was the Walmart Velocitron line that they said would roll out in july. But why wouldn't they discuss the more immenant Target line that is comming TOMMOROW that was announced a couple of days ago?

How do we prepare 4 tommorow's target preorders if hasbro didn't talk about it today? Any info on the buzzworthy worlds collide Ransack 4 pack? Particularly,I need 2 know what that Goldbug is going 2 look like beforehand so I'll know if I'm going 2 Want 2 order it.Comon sense, right?

We don't have Wal-Marts here in the UK, but since at least 2020 Wal-Mart exclusives like the Netflix figures and the three Legacy Beasts have been available on both Hasbro Pulse and a large toy retailer called Smyths Toys, who are usually quite reliable for stocking exclusives. While I've never dealt with Wal-Mart, I haven't heard great things about them and I sympathise with those who struggle with them.

These look pretty good for the most part. I'll probably pass on a lot of them because I already have the molds, but it's good to see some lesser-known characters get attention.

When I first saw the Arcee repaint I immediately thought G1 Override, though that would be too confusing since we're getting the American version of Nitro Convoy.

As for Cosmos, I like the robot mode for the most part, but that UFO mode is trash. Like, literally. He looks like a hovering trashcan. Like R2-D2 on meth. So unless he impressed me in hand, I'm sticking with TR Cosmos, who is a pretty great little figure.

Yeah, Cosmos is an oof on alt mode, which for me makes the giant gaps in his forearm that much worse. I think think I'll be sticking with T30.

I wasn't expecting to have so much fun with the reveals today. I went from wanting only 2 of the figures when the listings leaked to wanting the entire wave. My thoughts:

Clampdown: Diaclone-y goodness right there. Looking forward to pairing him up with Cordon. He will also be different from Red alert since I didn't get the kingdom one, so earth mode and cybertronian modes for them.

Burnout: more Diaclone goodness. Glad I passed on Skids for her.

Blurr: I wanted Armada, but IDW Blurr will continue to be a great choice for me, thank you.

Road Rocket: that Arcee mold looks nice in red, and the new head is great. Good looking figure, will love to get her.

Cosmos: I positively adore this. I had every intention of skipping this, but I love it. It's chunky, it's tubby, and I love the alt mode, that is RG1 Cosmos right there, and I love it. I think this will be my main Cosmos and my T30 one will go to the Cyberverse shelf with Meteorfire. that is a good compromise for me.

Hauler: for some reason, the shots with the claw arm have won me over on him. Only have Artfire from the mold, so I don't have the crane yet, so that works.

Override: pure beauty, thank you.

Scourge: I find it amusing that they are officially calling it "RiD2000" instead of "2001", but I don't care, I love how this guy looks, and he is the one I most want from this wave. He looks so good

Out of this wave I guess, the ones i want are Road Rocket, Hauler, Cosmos and Override. I dont have much attachment to IDW or Dialcone, but mught pick up Blurr and Burn-out if I can. I really hate that they put the boring old Nemesis Prime deco on Scourge though. Scourge is one of my favorite characters from RiD and it feels like they did him dirty here. I'll be passing on this one.

Clampdown comes with both the rifle and the shoulder rocket, both were shown on the stream (not to mention the leaked in-hand copy earlier).

Burn Out's already female, ever since BotCon 2015.

Note that I said male body not character. It's just an observation that Override was a male character turned female for the west, Roadrocket was made female just because they seemingly couldn't be bothered to make an alternate male torso for the mold, and Burn Out is straight up Crosscut in black. It's kinda interesting that worked out that way. Though I do think there's nothing wrong with Roadrocket being a skinny guy, the mold is so obviously designed with him in mind after all.

I'm going to add RoadRocket to the interested list. Probably wont pre-order or actively look for her, but if nI find her, I'll probably pick her up.

Also, I just keep thinking Cybertron Ransack every time I see that motorcycle mode for some reason.
