Wolfman Jake wrote:I thought I was going to find Cosmos this morning on my way to work. I was wrong. Yesterday, I stopped by a Walmart that had done its toy reset and put up the Velocitron deluxe class tags. A helpful employee scanned them and said they were being delivered on the truck due in later that day. He even went into detail on the logistics of getting them off the truck, out of the pallets, and unto the shelves, saying that they would be available the next morning. When I dropped by this morning, nothing had changed. Apparently, they’re now due to arrive on today’s truck instead. That sucks for me, because this Walmart is near my work, which is 45 minutes away from my home, so checking on the weekend will mean wasting a lot of gas. Why can’t Walmart just get their **** together? I want to give them my money, but they can’t get past their own crushing incompetence and apathy.
But who? His design is so unique, as far as I know no one else can use it. The TR got a repaint into Scrounge, but that couldn't be done with this Cosmos.Sabrblade wrote:Villain redeco potential!Rodimus Prime wrote:Looking more at my Cosmos, I can't help but notice how evil his face looks. If he had a conehead, his face would look like Armada Thrust. But his body is still so different no Decepticon could use it.Gearslide wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:But who? In fairness, G1 Cosmos' character model had somewhat sinister, squinty eyes:
Historically speaking though, I think Cosmos' molds have only ever been re-used for Path Finder and Scrounge, both of whom are pretty up there as far as being a "Good Guy" goes.

What's wrong with Kingdom Warpath?Gearslide wrote:But now that I've been looking at the figure quite a bit, I wonder if they couldn't make a heavily retooled Warpath figure using this mold?
Replace the head, change the top part of the UFO to a more Tank Turret design, and replace the outside bits of the UFO with Tank bits (With the Parts that turn into Cosmos' arms becoming the Treads for the Tank) and you'd have a pretty easy Warpath figure!

Nothing at all. But if they'd do Ironhide again so soon, I don't see why they couldn't do Warpath again a little down the road.

Difference is, a lot of people were unhappy with ER Ironhide (those that could get him in the first place), I think we're fine with Warpath for now

And that's the most likely repaint, especially after they did Bug Bite and Road Ranger.
Still no Velocitron in my area. The case of Road Haulers were nowhere to be found and the tags still haven't been put up. They did do a nice job of cleaning up the aisle, but it's pretty empty.

Cosmos is the bot who is following, and probably reporting on the race and then gets to wave the flag for the winner.
