The thing about using the Mirage mold is that while it's not a match altmode-wise, it still does the robot mode well, and the curvature of Mirage's head makes for a decent resemblance to Crasher's animation model head (which is more than can be said for either of those customs). Although they somewhat botched that by not putting on a middle black line to complete the "domino mask" look.
However, for those of us lucky enough to have the previous Fracture remold, the latest version still fails to deliver, IMO (if only due to having more variety in any given collection, which is another reason Jazz's mold is more welcomed than yet another version of the recent Mirage mold).
ZeroWolf wrote:I've got a feeling that it'll be a long time (if ever) that crasher does get her own mold. Chances are she'll always share it with multiple characters, like how Mirage has shared his with Crasher twice now.
Nemesis Primal wrote:One could argue Golden Disk Road Ranger does, since he's the only release of that mold to feature the toy-based Huffer head.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:(have any of the GoBots-based redecoes so far had so much as a new head?)

The artwork on the box is of the core (ugh).

I don't get why SS86 would even be fetching that much on ebay in the first place, not too long ago you could get him on sale for only $25 at several places, plus he's still currently available to order at the regular online shops for retail.

For me, one use of the SS86 Hot Rod mold is enough since I still find the TR mold more fun to play with overall. Shadowstrip is the one I'm most interested in, since I'm a sucker for G2.Munkky wrote:I may be in the minority here, I actually like this Hot Rod repaint more than the original, I like the shades of red and orange they've used a lot more, and I probably will swap out my Studio Series Hot Rod for this one. Shadowstrip and Crasher look nice as well, but I'm not interested enough in G2 or Go-Bots to buy either of them.
Eh, but it being G2 doesn't explain the "Robo"Munkky wrote:I do wonder if they'll go the whole hog with G2 Stunticons though, that recently leaked "Robo WLD RDR" product listing makes me think they will (as much as it would be cool and everything, I really don't think that product listing is X-Brawn with his Japanese name Wildride like some have speculated).
Or just plain old Selects.Munkky wrote:They could always stick G2 Motormaster in the Shattered Glass line if there's no room for a Commander in Veloctrion Speedia 500.
G2 Drag Strip didn't originally have "Shadow" in his name either.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Eh, but it being G2 doesn't explain the "Robo.Munkky wrote:I do wonder if they'll go the whole hog with G2 Stunticons though, that recently leaked "Robo WLD RDR" product listing makes me think they will (as much as it would be cool and everything, I really don't think that product listing is X-Brawn with his Japanese name Wildride like some have speculated).
