Definitely need to get both. Blaster's new deco isn't very drastic, but I love Soundwave in closer to Cartoon colors. I'd happily buy a Marvel Comics purple one, too.

Perceptor was apparently on Pulse today, missed that. There is a listing on Walmart.com, but it looks like it's going to be part of their next Collector Con on 10/13.

The last of the original G1 seekers has been released in Canada and the US. However, only the Hasbro Pulse orders shipped in the US while in Canada the toy has been found on Walmart shelves. We have a video review of the toy for you below.

I've been buying all of them and I can't wait to stick Missing Link Anime Prime with them next year.

BTW, Blaster and Soundwave were on Pulse and Walmart.com Friday. Soundwave sold before I could get him on Pulse but I was able to get Blaster. Both are sold out on Walmart.com. Hopefully they come back in stock. And at their normal price (on Walmart.com) and not their ridiculous random price markups on exclusives like their current $52.50 asking price for Thundercracker and Skywarp (and yes, that's the Walmart price, not a secondary seller).

Does anyone know if this reissue mold is an exact replica to the original with metal parts? I still have the metal body to my original Skywarp but it's missing tons of pieces like the wings. So I'm hoping I could use this for parts.

Yes, the only thing different is the colors, they all retain their metal parts.

All metals remains but putting the wings on your original may result in a mismatch of colors. You should buy one of the previous Skywarp reissue instead if you want your original back.

But as we often say, why not both? Get this Toon G1, and get a normal reissue. And if only the wings matter, you could even cheat and buy a G1 knock-off. It all depend on how much you're willing to spend and how much original you want your old G1 toy to be.

Walmart Canada's distribution has been pretty good with these so far, but we were told by a smaller Walmart store that the Manager decided to not carry these exclusives at all. The previous G1 reissues (retro G1 packaging from 2017ish) were being carried there before.

Happily pre-ordered Soundwave and Blaster on Walmart.ca. Jan-1st-24 release. Have so many of these two as releases, but at least they are cartoon accurate to make them unique.
