Though I guess since this is an alternate timeline it's separate from shattered glass too

It can be whatever you want.
Blaster has both a Kingdom release and a Legacy release coming according to listings found before we ever heard about the Shattered Glass repaint.Gearslide wrote:Autobot_Benz wrote:Ok Hasbro release this one before the actual Kingdom Tigatron.
Hasn't Shattered Glass Blaster been found, via Case Distribution, before a regular Blaster as well?

nothing for Tigatron yet.

Nemesis Primal wrote:The fact that they've now revealed both Tigatron and Pipes's molds through this before the actual original uses of the molds is aggravatingly hilarious though.
I think that's a bit different, since those guys were still mainline, while these are exclusive repaintswilliam-james88 wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:The fact that they've now revealed both Tigatron and Pipes's molds through this before the actual original uses of the molds is aggravatingly hilarious though.
To be fair, it's really not that different than what we had in TR here we'd get the redecos/retools revealed before the main use of the mold. Or Alpha Bravo before Vortex in Combiner Wars. Hasbro is jut revealing stuff before other stuff. Same diff.
At least in those instances, though, it was because the things they revealed first were the first uses of those respective molds to get released since they were all retail figures. Retail Tigatron could show up in stores literally any day now considering the Deluxes for his wave are out, and instead they reveal the exclusive version not coming out until March? It just seems a bit off.william-james88 wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:The fact that they've now revealed both Tigatron and Pipes's molds through this before the actual original uses of the molds is aggravatingly hilarious though.

Wolfman Jake wrote:Mutant Tigatron looks great in orange, but I wish he had his normal head included too. Same goes for Shadow Panther. The mutant heads are a nice callback, but they’re ugly. They were just optional on the original toys. Wish we still had that option now, at least as swappable heads, if not the same mechanism as the original toys.

william-james88 wrote:I'm a but cynical though, it just looks like a way for Hasbro to get some more money out of fans since they get the premium membership bucks AND get double their margin on anything offered on Pulse.

Meh, all toys in the same line (WFC). It's a bit different but ultimately the same thing. In both cases we are seeing a toy that is not the main intended use of the mold before the main intended use of the mold.
Just saying it's nothing really new. Hasbro has been and can be goofy.
