Although we haven't seen a single shot from The Kingdom animated series yet. I would not be surprised if Rodimus and Galvatron don't even show up, (I think What we got in ER form Galvatron is it) considering all the characters already present, and the large focus on BW. There;s already going to need to be a story for Primal and BW Megs. Do you think they can effectively give screen time/story development to 6 faction commanders in 6 episodes??

Effectively? No. Will they try? Quite possibly  Alternatively, they could blend Rodimus and the Maximals into one faction with Primal taking on an Elita-1 type role of second in command, and have Megatron transform into either Galvatron or Predacon Megatron because of the Matrix (I think he stole that? Been a while since I watched it initially)

yes, my thoughts exactly, nothing's been really effective so I doubt this would be. As for Galvatron, did he not say in the Earthrise cartoon that Megatron does turn into him? I thought I remembered a line that inferred that.

He said that Megs would turn into him, but I think his motivation was to try and stop it from happening, or cause it to happen in a way where he's no longer tied to Unicron

My interpretation was that he wanted Megatron to change his fate by taking the Matrix from Optimus early, so that when he becomes Galvatron later, he will have the Matrix on him and use it to destroy Unicron (not knowing that the Matrix's power can only be wielded by its chosen bearer).

Yes it was Galvatron's hope, that if Megatron killed Prime and/or took the Matrix, then he (Galvatron) wouldn't exist and be slave to Unicron, thus changing history of course.

Well, after seeing this newest photo, I’m definitely on the fence.
That face sculpt looks weird to me...
Not only are the eyes too high, the face looks like it's tilted/leaning back; the chin/jaw being too far forward, & the eyes being too far back...
For me this is really disappointing.
While I still say there’s too much extra, unnecessary molded details (like on the fin), pretty much everything else about the bot mode looks good.
I just looked again... Yeah, that face sculpt is off and odd.

Why do we need 2 different size classes of the same character?
To give fans a choice who want a larger Magnus who can actually fit some WFC cars in his trailer. I understand that it makes sense for Hasbro to make only 1 that they determine is in the right scale. But that doesn't mean some of us have to like it. I would have liked a white voyager ER Optimus inside a commander-sized trailer armor. And he could have been retooled into PM Prime/Super Ginrai. That would have been worth $80. Kingdom Roddy, the way he is, is not.

Only my opinion, of course.

I agree on Magnus. The Kingdom vehicle mode is just so weak. He could have used a commander release.

I'm glad they did Roddy, though. Before now he never had a really great (or even just really good) toy that's in scale. There's the Titanium which is a Titanium and the PotP which is alright, but suffers proportion problems. I gave the mold a lot of flack ion the past, but I changed my mind on it. It's alright. Both modes are okay. But, finally, Kingdom Roddy is a great version of the character. Not perfect. And probably too expensive. But he does have a lot going for him. And his proportions in robot mode aren't terrible, which can't be said for Titanium or PotP.

Magnus, at least, has Siege and Combiner Wars. So even if ER lacks, there are other options.

I know pretty much everyone loves Sky Lynx...
But until they make him with proportions that are much more similar to how he appeared in the show, I'll skip him every time. The $80 price tag just makes it that much easier.

I know Siege Jetfire was briefly available at Walmart for 1/2 off (they cut their own throats on that one), seeing as now he is among the Siege toys getting another production run. Skylynx was voted best Toy of the ER line. I'd say both were definitely worth the $80 Price Point. I believe Skylynx had very brief discounts on Amazon, but cant be 100% certain, still, waiting for it to discount now is not likely. Unless you are like some here with regard to Rodimus you ONLY want it of it is on discount, if not not big loss. That is ok. It's just that the first 2 CC were instant buys for me. Just not this newest reveal.

Skylynx proportions seem to be just right, not sure what you are meaning? Unless you mean that he is smaller in relation to PotP Predaking? If so, not much can be done, except hope for an undersized KO(yes I'm hoping for this) like what was done with CW Devastator

Yeah predaking was the one who throws the scale off, I can envision a smaller version coming out sometime down the line. Discount preddy and sky Lynx works perfectly.

I mean his own proportions;
In the show his neck was much longer compared to his body, & his head was smaller.
He was obviously big, but leaner & more trim-looking.
The toys that have been released look like his pudgy younger brother imo.

Yeah, all my local Targets still have Sky Lynx tags on the shelf at full price yet he keeps flying off the shelves. People seem to really love him enough that they're willing to pay any price for him.

As for POTP Predaking being to big, while one could say that he (and CW/UW Devastator) scale better with the MPs, another option for his being that big would be if one wanted to play with him with their Beast Wars toys, having the Predacons team up with their giant-sized ancestor against the Maximals. 8-)

I thought predaking scaled better with classics figures than the other CW combiners who are all too small. Dont combiners mass shift and become bigger than the sum of their parts?

My Blackarachnia seems fine, mine seems to have the smaller tab that doesn't get jammed. Is the tab where the sprue connected to that piece? That may explain the excess plastic that causes the tab to get stuck.

They did the same thing with PotP Rodimus so someone on the design team likes that look.

The Megatron breakage happened when its owner tried to disassemble it. He speculated that other actions like dropping it would break it, but it didn't break that way, he broke it.

I'm not sure if "QC" is the right description for these kinds of issues unless they came out of the package like that. Many figures are engineered with weak points. Even collector-targeted toys have limitations on how robust they are.

I like PotP Predaking because he looks good on the shelf with the other Titan class toys. Although in all of TF fiction he and Omega Supreme only had a brief encounter in the 3rd TF/GI joe crossover from IDW & DDP. It was obviously lopsided and inconclusive. It's a battle I've always wanted t see but haven't yet.

As for ER Skylynx I haven't seen him in Target in several months. In fact other than a single sighting of Runabout and Thrust in January, ER has been gone completely from all stores in my area. Kingdom sells out because it's stocked so slowly. The BB line clutters most Targets in my area be and occasional SS sightings at walmart and Target. It's pretty dry all over right now though.

Checking out Cheetor, he's definitely disappointing. Smaller than the original. The weapon is just meh, why no tail gun, or gut gun?

Hmm, anyway, he looks decent next to the other Cheetors.
