Wolfman Jake wrote:I've got plans for Kingdom Mirage. I'm going to swap the legs at the hip joints and the arms at the bicep joints onto Siege Mirage. It should all still work fine in terms of transformation. Then, I'll have a Mirage that has more on-model paint applications and still be able to have his missile mounted on his shoulder. The alt mode will look more Earthlike in the front with the opaque blue hull and open cockpit. The spoiler can't be helped, nor the visible robot mode chest in the back, but I didn't mind those aspects of the Siege mold anyway. It's not perfect, but its closer than either the Siege or Kingdom versions achieve alone to the look I want, particularly in robot mode.

Such BS with the supposed “delay email” they sent which I was somehow magically supposed to respond to.
Blessing in disguise???
Thankfully ALL of my other preorders are from different retailers.

My gut tells me that Tracks will see a revisit in the next three years. There's a lot of smaller problems that pick away at the Kingdom Figure imo, so I decided to skip it (at least for now). Maybe in Legacy we'll see a different Tracks that isn't 90% transparent plastic with a less awkward chest... we can only hope.

Yeah, I wouldn't doubt it, but I hope it's sooner than 3 years!!
I'm also hoping that the rumors about Ratchet are true. I was tempted by the Amazon 2 pack, but imo that mold works for ER Ironhide so much better.
I guess I always envision him as the "brawn", and Ratchet the "brains"... I get it, they're based on the same original toy, and it's a kill two figures with one mold scenario.
I always kind of assumed shape/size-shifting happened at least a bit to where Ratchet was just a little smaller in bot mode. Maybe not even in height, but in bulk.
Very anxious to start getting official word about the Legacy line.

Nuclearxpotato wrote:Generally the next Toyline is revealed mid-to-late year. So we should expect some mention of Legacy at Pulsecon (like Kingdom was last year) or NYCC if that's still happening.
AcademyofDrX wrote:It's fine to want what you want, but this is the first Generations Tracks update in a decade, and we got two releases each of Ratchet and Ironhide in the last three years. I would not expect updates for them anytime soon. I'm very grateful that the last six years have included at least one of nearly every cartoon character from G1, and consequently I'm not expecting to see those same figures prioritized in the next six, notwithstanding the big hitters.

I approved my third delay this morning of Tracks and Scorponok so I went to my main Target during lunch. Freaking ghost town in the toy aisles. Hoping a reset is around the corner as there were a lot of yellow discount tags.

Wolfman Jake wrote:Rtron wrote:I don't get all the drama about Mirage's shoulder cannon. It's just ONE missing feature, lost because of how the improved transformation works. And you can fix it pretty easily.
It’s because the figure lost functionality with this Earthmode “upgrade.” The remolded parts also look less on model to the G1 cartoon than the Siege version. They went out of their way to “fix” something that was never broken. All they needed to do was ditch the clear plastic and change some tampographs.

This right here.

Sorry, last I checked everyone was up in arms over the breeze-block mirages arms formed in the vehicle mode on the siege release, so you can't say that there was nothing to fix, because hasbro fixed the arms you all hated, and now look what you get for it

Personally, I never made that complaint, but you do you, boo.

Hasn't seemed floppy in all the reviews I've seen, but I don't make my purchases on hearsay (good or bad). If I have an issue with a figure, I take the good with the bad.
