Yeah, they do that for all pre-order products, this has been a thing for a year or two now, I remember they cancelled several pre-orders of mine, and I found those same figures at my local target that same day, it's why I'll literally never pre-order anything from them ever again

Walmart does the same thing unfortunately. Netflix wave 3 Voyagers were first sighted about a month ago in the United States (and in many countries 2-3 months ago), but my pre-order still says 8/5, if it ships at all...

Just rewatched the review for Tigatron and I love him even more

The transformation- especially with the legs and heads- is great.
I love that all 4 tiger legs are beefier than Cheetors beast legs (as they should be)
Both head sculpts are great
The paint job is pretty perfect. Especially in robot mode
Articulation is above average

Can't wait to get him! Gonna team him up with the other Maximal and airazor of course, and put him on a Wreckers team. Have him fight covert agent ravage. Its gonna be cool

With Walmart the problem is they don't close their preorders when it exceeds their expected inventory (so they have to cancel most of them). I'm not sure if Target does the same thing since my preorders had different issues(I've had problems of the preorder just not registering).

So... initial thoughts on The Ark...

Well...it's definitely not my favorite Titan, in fact I'd say it is my least favorite. Still, does that make this a bad toy? Not necessarily. I absolutely knew what I was getting, so I don't blame anyone.

The highlight is definitely Mainframe/Teletran-1. It appears much of the development went into how versatile this deluxe bot is, and how it integrates with the Ark, as opposed to the Titan itself. Still the ultimate test will come later. I'll see what my son thinks when he gets home later today, after all the whole collection is going to be his someday anyway...

So...am I a little disappointed? Sure. Buyers regret? Definitely not. I'd much rather have this, than not have it so that counts for something. If you are a Titan completionist, or if you just love The Ark (as I imagine a LOT of fans will keep this guy in Shuttle mode), than go for it.

If you are on the fence about Titans, and don't have much space, then definitely skip it. The Awesomeness of Omega Supreme and Scorponok the previous 2 years definitely set the bar a little too high I think for this new Titan. Still, a Transforming Nemesis down the line as a rival would be a welcome addition. I guess only time will tell.

T-Wrecks has begun shipping out from Target.com. Looks like he's currently sold out, that's a little surprising.

Those would most likely be part of a third party upgrade kit.

As for me, I'm skipping on the Ark and Scorponok. Black Zarak will be my last titan for a long while.

I like the Ark well enough. The lack of panels, especially since the side bits have to be plugged in anyway, is a bummer. But I'm more satisfied with him than I was with Fort Max when he came out.

Of the titans, I skipped Omega Supreme and Predaking. I have Scorpy on poreorder at BBTS. I'm on the fence with Black Zarak. I have him preordered at Hasbro Pulse, but I just don't have the room. But he looks so cool. I dunno.

That’s why I always shop BBTS. Sure, they’re a bit slow to get stuff, but I’ve never had them cancel a pre order on me, while I can cancel any pre order any time if I find it at retail.

Doesnt have to make sense to you, it's just the truth. You should use this truth to best suit your collecting habits, as the post just above does.

Sad to hear Scorponok is apparently a bit of a dud, the scorpion mode looks positively delightful. That said I hear rumblings we might be getting redecos of him (notably as Botcon Sandstorm and a toy-colours redeco ala Blackarachnia) so depending on how good the colours are on that I might still bite. Can never have too many scorpions.

And yeah, Tracks looks bad. Which is a shame, I've been wanting a decent Tracks for a while, but with the tolerance issues, overdone engineering and bizarre fake chest for no very good reason, I think he's gonna be a pass. I MIGHT get Road Rage if she's improved tolerance wise but I doubt it.

Side note: Forgive me if I've mentioned this before but I wish Dracodon was done in black and clear green to match Skellivore and Tricranius. He(?) would look brilliant as an acidic ooze monster, but as is the solid green looks a bit boring. Which is a pity as Vertebreak is a great little mold.

That would be true if Target didn't cancel practically every preorder they take

I just transformed UM from alt-mode for the first time and just separating the first panels that clip to the tail end of UM cab almost freaked me out! I really thought I was going to snap breaking them....anyone else have that moment?

...so I was doing another one of those occasional lurks on TFW that I do to see what the leakers are saying and copy-paste it over here for increased visibility for y'all, and while most of what I found is for other threads, I've got two things that are Kingdom-adjacent (as far as I know):

1. There's a non-zero chance that the Wave 4 ER Starscream repack that leaked with everything at the beginning got dropped, Wave 5's Blaster + 1 Cassette is getting pushed up to fill that spot, and Wave 5 is therefore now ALL repacks (but again, it's a CHANCE, because none of the leakers can agree if it's happening or not).

2. The mystical figure black market where TonTon and those other overtly sketchy early reviewers possibly get their figures from is about to get a hold on Pipes...and SILVERSTREAK, who apparently exists and is blue and that's all anyone knows about him (hence my as-far-as-I-know disclaimer, for all anyone knows he's a Selects figure that didn't leak like Tigertrack last year).

The blaster news is interesting If true we'll be seeing him even sooner then.

Dropping Starscream makes all of the sense since he'd be hitting stores around the same time as SS King Starscream. I guess that means we'll be seeing Blaster very soon. I hope that rumor is true and we're finally getting another rare blue Streak.

Can't wait for Blaster so Soundwave can have a worthy adversary. And also to go with the TF:TM crew! All ill be missing at that point is Perceptor, who should be coming soon after as well

I didn't take any pics of Rodimus because I don't have it, that was a separate pic for the article. Also, while I'm known as many things, I'm not a liar.
