You good.Sabrblade wrote:Actually, I take back what I said about Core Soundwave. Looking back at the rumors, I got him and Starscream mixed up.
...theoretically that could be true, but it seems veeery unlikely, the leaked number of Fossilizers has always been 5, there were always supposed to be multiple Core Class Fossilizers, and I feel like Apollux or one of the other credible sources would have confirmed by now if Vertebreak and Dracodon were the same figure, since they were able to confirm the stuff that got cut.william-james88 wrote:Coud it be that Dracodon and Vertebreak are one and the same? I ask simply because Vertebreak turned out to be a Dracorex.
Do multiple Optimus Primes in every line not count? Also, it's not like Tigatron wouldn't be getting made without Polar Claw getting cut, he just would have been a Deluxe repaint instead of a unique Voyager.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:They don't normally like to have the same character in two lines. So Kingdom Tigatron alongside MP Tigatron seems odd and out of place. Polar Claw would have been preferable. Then again, for those two in particular, it is ironically the same cycle repeated once more.
Honestly, I'm leaning towards no at this point, I think the Fossilizers are going to be mostly Preds and therefore the inverse of the Siege Weaponizers where 5/6 of them were Autobots.Poly Wraith wrote:But dang it...I'm getting confused. Do we still think we have two![]()
Fossilizers at this point? I know the sabretooth is apparently out of the picture (?)

and that was probably meant to be a Maximal since Primal was "wearing" him/her in the concept art.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.
Rainmaker wrote:I'm glad that Tigatron is getting a toy in favour of Polar Claw, as great as Polar Claw may be it will be awesome to finally have updated toys for all of the show characters.

That’s the thing though. Both Tigatron and Airazor are getting new altmodes. So they won’t be updates to the originals at all.
Wolfman Jake wrote:But didn't Target have a problem with the Wave 2 Leaders for Earthrise this past summer? A lot of people were finding Doubledealer and Optimus Prime at retail for a few weeks but were being denied sale because the Target system had them street dated. So, it's not only Wave 1 were this problem can happen, apparently, or Target is just THAT incompetent.

Mp's have never counted and never should for what gets made in a standard toy line, otherwise other lines like Studio Series wouldn't make the characters that get covered in the Movie MP line.
Masterpiece are not "action figures" and won't be considered when it comes to a Generations line, otherwise we wouldn't be getting Movie MP's (or the other way around with no Studio Series figures of the movie 1 crew)

Exactly.
By that logic, one would never buy an Optimus Prime figure ever because he's always in every lines.
Rainmaker wrote:Well so far I've liked the new alt modes for the rest of the maximals so Tigatron and Airrazor won't be much different.

The fact that 2020 has 4 Arcees coming out means whatever rule you may have thought existed does not.

What are you basing this statement on? It's clear they're remaking the show roster. It would be asinine to scrap the iconic looks of the characters now. Now sure, this isn't the Masterpiece line where show accuracy is king, but I also don't see a whole lot of reason for them to radically change Tigatron and Airazor. Plus, they're sort of bound by their names. Tigatron has to be a tiger of some kind and Airazor needs to be a flying creature.
What saber-toothed tiger?AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Now an Eagle and Sabretooth Tiger respectively. Revealed by the promo art, thus far. So they are still A Tiger and Bird. Just not the same ones.

The thing to get out of your head, is this isn't Beast Wars. Much like Siege wasn't G1. This is War For Cybertron Beast Wars. They can be similar, but they don't have to be exact. Which is why I liked the initial inclusion of Polar Claw, new altmodes and the Fossilisers. Making a distinction between the two.
