Wanna share? I'm curious.

Sao far, all of Hasbro's Selects have only been redecos with or without new heads, not extensive retools like Takara's Selects.

Yeah that caught my eye as well. Maybe it'll be an Arcee redeco like that one they did at Botcon. yes, I know that was a different Arcee, but it may homage the concept of an Arcee being turned into Transmutate.
Or they could pull out the build-a-figure they released in the BW 10th anniversary line.
Overcracker wrote:D-Maximal_Primal wrote:I'm thinking and hoping new mold. Tracks should be a little more lithe than Wheeljack ended up being.
Yup, its looking very likely to be a new mold.sol magnus wrote:There's no need to retool him. They're using engineering tricks to effect the transformations without sharing molds now.
They share parts if not molds per se.
Even the heavy retools we've seen from Prime and Megs, kept some parts from the original mold. Oddly enough Leader EarthRise Prime keeps not only the shins and feet from WFC Prime, but also the actual hinge for the rear tire transformation although its rendered immovable on him by the back of his shins.
I guess It could be en extensive re-engineering like Prime and Megs, and only keep the Windshield chest engineering if anything.

Seems like a heap of bullocks to me. I speculate that Tigatron is wave 2 (I know he’s being made in Vietnam in late June/ early July), and I don’t think a Transmutate is in the works

Everyone on TFW2005 is guessing she might be a retool of a Fossilizer. Who knows?

One for each year of the Movieverse's decade strong tenure. Here's to a few more explosive years!

Am I the only one seeing Transmutate out of Paleotrex?
Nemesis Primal wrote:Thoughts on these wave listings:
-Deep Cover we already have a Netflix listing for, so unless he got moved like Barricade allegedly has been, that's not right
Nemesis Primal wrote:-Transmutate could maybe work as a Paleotrex repaint with a new head, but none of the Modulator repaints so far have new heads,

Nemesis Primal wrote:-Don't the Commander and Titan usually come out with whichever wave hits in the summer, which would presumably be Wave 2 again this coming year and not Wave 3?
Nemesis Primal wrote:-We're supposed to believe that Hasbro is going to reuse the Ramjet-specific Conehead tooling twice before reusing either of the other toolings? That doesn't really sound like a cost-efficient split

Probably Deep Cover, Barricade, and I've been guessing Soundblaster since he's actually in the cartoon, got bumped to Selects (or Netflix wave 3) if that box really does belong to Barricade, there's been a lot of debate about that.

Agreed on both accounts.Emerje wrote:WFC as a whole has been a bit of a disaster. The figures have been great, but the segements have been a rollercoaster.
The comments I've seen about the Barricade thing have been that the Selects box being present is/was misinformation and that one of the credible leakers says Barricade got moved to a Galactic Odyssey set, but no one has said that that Selects box actually goes to Barricade. That doesn't mean Deep Cover couldn't have been moved, but it would be odd for that Netflix wave to have just been completely cut in half, especially when it's the new figures getting cut and not the dirty repaints no one wants.Emerje wrote:Probably Deep Cover, Barricade, and I've been guessing Soundblaster since he's actually in the cartoon, got bumped to Selects (or Netflix wave 3) if that box really does belong to Barricade, there's been a lot of debate about that.
Correct, I'm simply saying we can't assume what a potential Fossilizer mold reuse will have in terms of new parts, since Greasepit was the exact opposite of what the Powerdashers made us expect from that kind of repaint by having new parts instead of a new head, then Hot House was the opposite of what Greasepit made us expect by having nothing new, and we've got a rumor of another Ironworks mold use in a GO set with no idea of it's new part situation.Emerje wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:-Transmutate could maybe work as a Paleotrex repaint with a new head, but none of the Modulator repaints so far have new heads,
The Modulaters don't, though Greasepit did get some new parts not found on Ironworks while three of the Weaponizers got new heads as the Powerdashers.
Yes, but if this is supposed to be the complete wave breakdown for the line, and it includes the repacks of Arcee, Wheeljack, and Starscream, then shouldn't it have SOMETHING listed for that Wave 4 Core spot, regardless of it being a repack? I was counting ER Wave 3 when I made that statement since that wave wasn't skipped by having nothing release, it just didn't include specifically new product.Emerje wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:-No Cores in Wave 4 doesn't feel right, WFC as a whole has yet to skip a wave with the $9.99 price point
This isn't entirely true, Earthrise Micromaster wave 3 is just repacks, no new figures. Same could be true for Kingdom.

Depends on whether they're deluxes like Cliffjumper or deluxes like Wheeljack.
Overcracker wrote:Trying to figure out where they can get Tracks from for Kingdom, I'm looking at Wheeljack, and I just don't see how they can retool him into Tracks.
Transformation wise there's no where to stick wings in, and nowhere for the jet mode fins to come from in car mode.
Maybe he'll be a new mold. Cause from what I've seen from Sunstreaker, it doesn't look he has anything for Tracks either.

Is it me, or is Soundblaster taking "chest day" way too seriously?![]()

Looks like he fits 2 minions comfortably.
The 'Hobbymizer Studio' Facebook page has posted new stock photos of the upcoming Kingdom Optimus Primal, Cheetor, And Rattrap figures. Optimus Primal is shown close up and from multiple angles we haven't seen before.
Rodimus Prime wrote:I like the figures well enough, and Primal's robot mode is great, but is it just me or is the face on the ape mode just too off? Like he has a pout/defiant look that I don't remember him having in the entire run of the show?
