I know preorders have been a hassle recently, but I couldn't resist and preordered Cyclonus through Amazon. Relative to these being toys, I haven't been this excited about TF since UW.

I just did the same thing...pre-ordered V. Optimus Primal yesterday on BigBadToyStore. I got Cheetor on Target so we'll see what happens. I've never pre-ordered anything before, really, and hearing all the complaints makes me wonder what figure will show up when and how much frustration I'll have to go through before it's all said and done (hoping little-to-none).

I hadn't had any issues and am really lucky that I received by seeker conehead two pack with zero issues...
I think the biggest thing right now with preorders is the release/delivery dates changing and getting pushed back. Which is annoying, but in the grand scheme, if I still get what I paid for, it's not a huge deal to me... Especially because I am pretty good about only buying the figures I really want. I'm used to being patient and waiting.

A hopeful reminder for those who have despaired over 'character x from the portrait got cut from the listings/was scrapped': the leaks we have are specifically for the mass retail lineup, the toys that go to every store equally. It very specifically does not take into account store exclusives. If we take a look at the first two wfc lines, a significant portion of the lines were exclusive to one store or another, moreso if one counts the netflix subline and selects releases of those molds as well. I put together a list by line, ignoring store and omitting names of same character redecos and battle masters for brevity's sake. (But still noting their presence)

Pretty sure the Titans Return mold rereleases are not part of the Earthrise line. They have their own unique G1-styled packaging like Back to the Future Gigawatt, and were said to be part of a line called "Retro Headmasters".

I was refering to the legends class pounce/wingspan and fastlane/cloudraker two packs that were target and amazon exclusives respectively, which received either earthrise branding or were part of the galactic odyssey subline respectively. the only new reveals I included in that list were thrust, runabout and the micron pack. The retro headmaster deluxes are, as you said, their own separate thing.

Greetings Seibertronians! Takara Tomy have been busy on their twitter feed this week! Not only have they teased preorders opening up for the Transformers Fans First Fridays reveals (here and here), earlier they announced the preorders open for the first three figures from Transformers War for Cybertron Kingdom: KD 01 - Voyager Class Optimus Primal, KD - 02 Core Class Rattrap and KD 03 - Deluxe Class Cheetor. There is also new images accompanying the announcements, and in the case if Optimus Primal, comparisons with Siege Voyager Class Optimus Prime and Earthrise Leader Class Optimus Prime! Check out the new images below!

Primal looks so good. Rattrap keeps looking better to me (and more affordable than his T30 self). Cheetor's... Not perfect, but still better than nothing (I actually dig the tail axe, but the blue color keeps changing shades based on lighting so it's hard for me to know if I like the blue or not :lol:

). I'm still surprised at the fact that these guys are actually getting made, but it's such a fun experience seeing them get the same love that G1's been getting

Oh, these look so nice. 5mm hands and a Munky as big as Trukk! So glad I preordered all on Amazon, who knows when I'll get them but at least they've never canceled on me like Walmart or Target. I know Rattrap will fit in ER Prime's trailer but I wonder if Cheetor would too? That would make for some cool pics.

He looked pretty short in comparison to the primes though, im wondering if that was his stance and position in relation to them or if hes really that short

I was thinking the same about rattrap that would be so fun
And id like to think cheetor will fit as well, considering his beast mode isn't too wide and has enough articulation to crouch down

Primal is in more of a crouch than the Primes behind him, but with the perspective and angle of the photo, I cannot tell how much taller he will actually be with his legs straight.

You're right, looking at the beast-mode legs I now they did do a good job on the animal knees. Kitty crouched down in the back of the trailer with one of the Datsun bros trying to convince him to come out :lol:

what a missed opportunity. if they HAVE to be the same animals they had a chance here to make new cool looks for these animals and bot modes. like transmetals or something. there are so many molds of primal that exist already for example.

Cheetor -yes! Primal - yeeesssss!!! Rattrap, no freaking way. Those shoulders have turned me away since the first shots. I always say they are on sideways, face the sides not the front.

To be fair, this is the first time that he beast modes have designed to look more realistic compared to their past incarnations. I think they did a great job here.

When the **** did we ever get an actual update to season 1 Primal in all of CHUG? We never had fully new molds of these characters in a collection meant for them to be proportional to eachother. There's been 5 lines of G1 before these that do that, this is the first time for Beast Wars, let us enjoy it.

Yeah lets get experimental with the Beast Wars guys because we have just been getting so much of them haven't we? The Beast Wars anniversary that celebrates these underappreciated characters is just the perfect place too! With everybody having a copy of the original versions there's no value to what their doing here eh?
