Four? He was only red, black, and blue in Diaclone, what's the fourth? The yellow we were talking about was Binaltech yellow. I'm positive that between Kingdom, Selects, Netflix, and other store exclusives they can find a way to fit Road Rage and Loud Pedal in.

Well to be fair, Diaclone repaints are different characters while a G2 Megs is still Megs. G2 Sandstorm was blink and you missed him. Also, both version of G2 megs were from a mold that most people don't care for.

The only fault of ER Prime that irk me are the back panels that have the front wheels. They stick out like a sore thumbs when the bot is viewed from the front. The fault is even more apparent with the shiny Reprolabels.

BTW, that Optimus in Kingdom, is that the ER Leader sans trailer sold as a voyager? If yes, thats a better deal than the leader because that trailer countain barely nothing for that huge price difference.

Nope, straight Leader Class rerelease in the same case as BW Megatron.

Yeah, the 1 without the trailer is in the Netflix line, so that makes 1 more spot the same toy will take up, though I guess he can't be considered exactly the sane, since he won't have the trailer and his deco is a bit modified. But essentially it's the same figure, the Optimus figure itself wasn't changed structurally.

That's a good idea. Because Optimus with trailer is a good seller. Plus I'm pretty sure that many places never received the ER version because of distribution shenanigans.

Not sold 100% on the tiger face, pictures may be showing it at a weird angle, it looks way more ursine than I'd expect (maybe they tried to save time by modifiying Polar Claw's model?)

He had already mentioned seeing Rhinox earlier this year, but also just said that he had forgotten (somehow?) that Rhinox's guns store on the back in robot mode, and internally in beast mode. Pretty awesome IMHO.

Ha funny you should ask that. My very first post on this forum was to create a thread asking that same question. The basic answer I got is "nobody knows" but there is a general schedule they seem to have been keeping to. Basically (the past couple of years) every four months a wave hits + another wave is officially revealed. So I would guess Dec - Jan is when we'll see official announcement for Kingdom Wave 2. I can share the link to the thread with you if you want.

And I would guess it's possible that they may not even do a major event? My thought would be that they might possibly do another Fan Friday (facebook live event). Isn't that where the announcements for SS86 happened a couple weeks ago?

Yeah, that's my thinking as well, considering Kingdom got revealed in the Puslecon presentations and SS86 got announced via a Fan First Friday they could really do another reveal whenever if the con schedule isn't lined up right for them (especially since Toy Fair got pushed back to May, right?).

We don't know what it is. Could be Kingdom, could be Studio Series, could be anything. It's something that won't see release until April 2021. It is to be revealed on the Ozformers Facebook page.

Reissuing ER Optimus to fill the "must haveses big Optimus" thing is a dumb move. He was doomed to mediocrity by being basd off an undersize Optimus to start with and the constraints of being Leader-class rather than Commander-class, and between distribution density in his original release and the Netflix line selling the cab portion separately... yeah.

Maybe it's not too late to mass-badger Hasbro into reissuing Galaxy Upgrade Optimus instead? That would be somewhat more worthwhile.

Of course, the most intelligent move would have been to reissue PotP Optimal Optimus.

If it wasn't due until April, I would guess it is the mysterious WFC-E28, but that seems way too late for an Earthrise release.

I think the ER Leader Prime could be greatly updated by having the back wheels put on his hips. U can take the current one and fold them round the hips to see how good it could look. Of course they would have to take the truck parts of from that piece. Have them kinda like some of the movie Prime figures with the wheels there. Doing that would make it look very much like the Studio Ox version of Optimus. This, I think, would greatly improve the ER mold.

Makes me wonder if we're finally getting that elusive AOE Galvatron people have been begging for. Hard to believe it's anything from Kingdom if it isn't exclusive.
