Well, have I got some rumor news for you guys. As it turns out, Australia is supposed to be unveiling something new in just two days from now, on November 5.

We don't know what it is. Could be Kingdom, could be Studio Series, could be anything. It's something that won't see release until April 2021. It is to be revealed on the Ozformers Facebook page.

We already know what it was, it was the Kingdom Ractonite and Arcee reveals. It was confirmed following the leak over the weekend
No no, this is something else. A Voyager. Decepticon. New mold. One that hasn't been seen in the listings known thus far. And it's not an exclusive.

Would be news to me that that is what is supposed to be

Makes me wonder if we're finally getting that elusive AOE Galvatron people have been begging for. Hard to believe it's anything from Kingdom if it isn't exclusive.

Emerje
I'm not ruling out anything yet, myself, but one other clue they gave was that "it's a real Beast to transform", both referring to its complexity and intentionally uppercasing the B in "Beast".

Of course, that doesn't automatically mean Kingdom, since beast modes have been all over this franchise since the beginning.

Any chance it is the Golden Lagoon GL-03 set with Seaspray, Beachcomber and Perceptor that Pulse just dropped?

I just got that email and it looks like Golden versions of Prime Wars Trilogy figures. You got the three pack you linked, a Soundwave that is the Titans Return mold, and a Starscream with the body of the Combiner Wars and PotP jets. Almost want to get the three pack so I have a TR Perceptor.

They're just reissues of these toys.

I doubt it as that's just a reissue of what Takara released a while ago. Plus there's no Decepticon in that set ;)

Looking at the stock images for the originals and the new ones, they look like complete reissues for the most part. Soundwave in the new photos looks to have some more pronounced colors than the Takara release, and Prime looks to have blue-tinted plastic in place of clear ones from the last release, but of course both of those could be lighting differences in the photographs. The Starscream and the three-pack, however, all look the same as before, with even one of Perceptor's previous stock photos just being transferred.

Ooouuuuu looks like we have a civil war on our hands

Haaaaa!! :MAXIMAL: :PREDACON:

Had one of those in 2016, didn't end well, as all civil wars do.

If it's a beast, I'll be interested. If not, then at the current rate I just won't be.

Maybe Tigatron or Dinobot's reveal.

I will also hold out hopes for a SS AOE Galvatron. But I'm not holding out hope there.

The reveal I've been hyping is up, and it turns out to be a Studio Series reveal instead (they apologized for the "Beast" misdirection, but it is indeed a new mold Decepticon Voyager). Check it out over there.

If I had seen the part about it being "a beast" before the reveal I probably would have guessed Hatchet, I still wouldn't have thought it was a Kingdom figure.

More Kingdom toy info from leaker Apollux:

Here's the new news for today.

I just saw engineering proto's for a few of the remaining deluxes.

Pipes:
Looks amazing, considerably more work done on him than expected.
His entire torso and arms are new, and the cab of the truck has been designed to flip the right way to further differentiate Huffer/Pipes like the G1 toys.

Interestingly Pipes pipes are on top of his arms so he has a kind of dual fusion cannon thing going on.

Waspinator:
On the fence here, not sure if this version is better than the T30 mold. Will need to wait for better pictures with colour. Similar in my mind to Rhinox, where the main difference may be better bot mode articulation. Might have come out better at Voyager price point...

Slammer:
Not super interested in this one, but he looks much more accurate than I expected. Appears to be almost completely a new mold.
No obvious signs of shared engineering with Warpath, apart from the fact they both have treads and are tanks.

kinda expected the voyager reveal to be waspinator at deluxe size with an extra head and demolished body parts or scrap cube.

If slammers not a weaponiser I think I'll stick with the tank that came with cyberverse jetfire as it has a bit more interactivity with metroplex from its smaller size.

If that's the case with Pipe's pipes then I hope they have 5mm openings, could be a lot of fun for things like "Hulk hands" and different weapon configurations. Whish they would have said something about his size, if he's normal Deluxe or small Deluxe and how his truck mode compares to Prime's or if there's a trailer hitch. Going to be disappointed if I can't do this with Huffer.

In addition, Apollux said more stuff following what Sabr posted, since now they're getting a bunch of questions:
Pipes
Pipes' head apparently looks to be based off his IDW look from what Apollux can see (so more like his OG toy rather than his 2 Sunbow appearances)

Waspinator
Has two bug legs on his bot legs and one on each arm, so flipped from his T30 figure, apparently has a smaller wasp head, and Apollux said the alt mode looks a bit worse and kinda gappy but they also think he's not transformed all the way, uncertain if he's got improved articulation just yet

Slammer
Tank cannon can be used as an arm-mounted fusion cannon, tank treads can apparently partsform into a "shield/chainsaw" weapon, unclear if he's a full partsformer/Weaponizer or not as Apollux can't currently tell how they transform but says they have proportions similar to Hot House, Apollux attempted to draw the head sculpt and what they produced looks (to me) like a mix of IDW Rewind and CW First Aid's head designs (someone else also likened it to an Autotrooper), apparently has a VERY cartoon-accurate tank mode

If all this is true (which Apollux's info has been so far), I'm probably on board for Pipes and DEFINITELY on board for Slammer, he sounds amazing.

If Slammer ends up being a good Protectobot stand-in I'm gonna buy like 20 of them. (well more like 5-7 like I did with Siege Prowl because of the reprolabels set that makes them into Autotroopers, I also did something similar with TR Hardhead having bought 3 Hasbro ones to be a heavy Protectobot squadron)

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.

Takara Tomy Goes Wild with a New Kingdom Stock Photos of Megatron, Blackarachnia and Vertebreak

While Hasbro has been making their intentions for War For Cybertron Kingdom clear, Takara Tomy's plans are finally beginning to take shape. New listings at Takara Tomy Mall show KD-04 Megatron and KD-05 Blackarachnia along with Takara Tomy Mall exclusive KD EX-02 Vertebreak will be released to Japan in April of 2021. This is a month after the previously announced releases of KD-01 Optimus Primal, KD-02 Cheetor, KD-03 Rattrap, and KD EX-01 Paleotrex in March.

The new stock photos give us probably our best looks at Megatron yet from multiple angles. Keep in mind that like other stock photos from Takara Tomy the colors may not be entirely accurate so don't expect that slightly redder shade of purple to stick around long. Interestingly Vertebreak appears to be able to hold 5mm pegs unlike Core class Rattrap and Optimus Prime which have 3mm peg holes in their hands.

See anything you like or any new concerns? I'm personally not so sure how I should feel about Megatron's back kibble. Let us know in Energon Pub forums how you're feeling about these updated looks!

Not gonna lie, those colors on Megatron are a turn-off for me. He looks good as a toy, but it's just too loud and I don't think it's even accurate. Blackarachnia on the other hand looks pretty amazing.

They're the wrong colors.

I'm just now noticing that Megatron transforms kinda backwards from his classic toy. On the OG, the wings were mounted on his dino belly, but here the dino back also becomes his robot back.

I don't love how kibble-tastic he is but I guess I'll live with it. This doesn't change my mind of him, noooooo.
