What's so bad about kingdom Magnus in robot mode?
My main problem with this Dinobot is the head / face. The thing just looks real silly to me...kind of a derpy expression going on there.william-james88 wrote:While the raptor hands look terrible, I see where hasbro got the idea from. Dinobot was based on the 90s Jurassic park idea of what a raptor looked like and that's the hands position you see on many images which Hasbro probably took inspiration of.
I agree--I'm sad about that. I think the version in the concept art feels more "90's Beast Wars" to me and I was pretty excited about seeing that image realized as an actual figure. I do kinda like the one they came up with and spent some time back on forth on whether or not to get it (chose not to). I think if they'd gone with that original look it'd have been more of a easy decision to say "yes" to.

Best way to judge would be to look at how everyone else turned out (from what we've seen anyway)

The transformation is a lot of fun to do, and he's very posable despite the large pieces behind his shoulders. His butterfly shoulder joints help work around that some. And he's just really neat and well painted.
Easily my favorite so far

I left Blackarachnia out of the photo as she is technically still a Predacon.

As a CGI nerd, that first episode blew me away. The jump in graphics technology between the two was significant.
