Sure, the legs are indeed on the loose side, but he's still stable and posable. The backpack is reasonable. The transformation is a tad fiddly but not annoying. The vehicle is beautiful and hold itself well.

I wouldn't had gotten him at full price. But at the sale price? Money well spent.

I got Rodimus Prime yesterday, Smyths Toys had him on discount at only £69, down from £93. I've barely touched the trailer, but the robot is very nice. He looks good next to my other 1986 Autobots, and just by looking at him he looks taller than Earthrise Optimus, but is actually an inch or so shorter. I'm not keen on the transformation though, it's complicated but not in a satisfying way, more of a "Oh crap am I going to break it?" kind of way. Plus there are elements of the transformation that seem a bit pointless, like part of the wheels on his shoulders unclipping, moving forward a bit and then clipping into a peg hole next to the wheel. I don't understand why that has to be there. While I do like Rodimus just fine, I stand by my belief that he should've been a Leader instead of a Commander, a little bit smaller and with fewer bells and whistles, it could've worked just fine.

Problem was limited leader slots, and he would have been adversely impacted by the budget cut from Commander to leader.

Kinda tempted by that Rodimus deal on Amazon, y'all think I should go for it?

I did. It's too good a price to pass up (and I already have one).

Now that I finally had the chance to get and transform Waspinator, I wonder what you guys did wrong. I transformed mine without instructions and his bug mode tab itself solidly EVERYWHERE and is rock solid.

The bug chest is a wee bit too thick due to the bot feet, but that's his only real flaw.

Mine arrived Saturday. He feel really solid in hand, like Primal does. He is really nice.

Just curious who is shipping him...Pulse, Amazon? I have yet to purchase a single Beast in Kingdom, but much like Kingdom Galvatron (a toy I did not intend to buy), if I se Tigatron in store I may just get it as he was my favorite S1 character. Apparently he has started showing up in Canada, hopefully the U.S. wont be too far behind.

Fans chose a figure that had been out at retail for a while and a lot of people owned, but still hadn't been announced by Hasbro, to effectively bait them into acknowledging it and send a message about how poorly handled product reveals have become. That probably isn't the case but it would certainly be funny.

That was 100% the case. Very few owned Tigatron at the time of the hall of fame.

Reminds me of the CW vote when Hot Spot/Groove won the torso section when they were put on the poll before they were officially announced

If Tigatron ends up being a larger and improved Cheetor, I think he'll still deserve it. Cheetor is a lot of fun for me.
