I think he has a lot of anger issues because some of his men are incompetent. So he deals with a lot of stress and then he takes his anger out on them. Not only that he has his second-in-command trying to kill him whenever he turns his back. Poor Megatron, I bet he has to see a therapist once in a while.

One can only hope Megatron can spell. That aside I like to think of him as a curmudgeonly old mech who enjoys yelling at the younger con's to get off of his lawn. Although I have no idea why I think of him this way. Perhaps it's the chronic smoker who just drank a gravel milk shake voice, but I still love him.

That he is misunderstood. He wants peace, albeit through tyranny. Prime wants peace as well, albeit via a different rout.

So it's kinda like the difference between someone falling of something and someone jumping off something. same ending, different story.

I like the kids on the lawn reference, however, I see Megatron peeking through his window, then running out and yelling "Hey you kids, I told you to stay off of my lawn! I just planted those topiaries!", and the little punks would just laugh and ignore him until he blasted a couple of them and then the others would run off squealing. Then he would check the mail.
