Funny side note. When I first start there, I didn't know what a "quart" of milk was and this old lady asked me to pass her one. So I had no clue what to give her and she started getting really pissed off!

See inside the 4L bag are 3 smaller 1 1/3 bags which you put into a pitcher and cut the corner for a spout.

I'm hoping for pictures.
We can get plenty of sizes here, but they are all in plastic jugs. We got those "Chugs" which are like pints or something, mostly a one serving kinda thing, we got 1 quart bottles, half gallon jugs and one gallon jugs. Some places will still have the cardboard containers too. But never have I seen a bag of milk.

But I can't decide which.
Boobs, and cows.
But, for liquids, I prefer the jug method, it's a lot easier to store the suckers(I'm talking jugs of water for emergencies etc.) Bags just seem like they would puncture a lot easier than jugs would.

Then we had it in 1L liter glass bottles, some still do that, but no it's mostly 1L cardboard containers ore 1L plastic containers that are like the cardboard ones.

while the picture isn't milk, the package is the same. There are some stores that sell jugs here but that's a rarity here.
Say what? Bags of milk? Thats just retarded!

And you don't feel even slighly stupid when posting stuff like that? Or is it some natural feat for yanks?

Or anything up to a 1LTR cardboard container, for things like soy milk or UPT milk (Ultra-high temperature processing), and these are either the plain "cut a hole on the top" or the ones with a small plastic lid.
EDIT-Just found this Wikipedia about the Milk containers used in Aus and NZ:-
Wikipedia wrote:.....Distributed in a variety of sizes, most commonly in Tetra Pak cartons for up to 1 litres, and plastic screw-top bottles beyond that with the following volumes; 1.1L, 2L, and 3L. 1 litre Bags are starting to appear in supermarkets, but have not yet proved popular. Most UHT-milk is packed in 1 or 2 litre paper containers with a sealed plastic spout.

corrected.
I only get 4 pints in a plastic jug thing.
I really am gonna be honest here. I cannot see how bags would work at all.

I'd love for the UK to switch over to bags. It would really spice up making tea!

I still love the 1 pint glass bottles though with the foil tops, and sometimes the birds would peck through them. They eventually added plastic caps to them to stop it.

I buy 500ml containers for making tea in the office though.

I am yet to see these "bags" of milk here on the big Island...
The plastic lined cardboard 1 litre containers that have soy and "lite" milk (as well as Juices) in them is about as "baggy" as I have seen.
Then again I don't drink coffee, so don't go into cafes.
It amazing to think that only 10 years ago we were still getting milk delivered in 1 litre glass bottles by the milkman, and thats in the suburbs of Sydney...
