I'm sorry if this has been asked before and already answered...I just don't feel up to reading through every post on the boards to find an answer xD

Now, I've only seen the movie one time so far and I lost track of the Matrix after The Fallen took it, saying, "My Matrix!" and used it to activate the machine. What happened to it after that? Did Prime recover it or was it destroyed along with the machine and subsequently, The Fallen?

I don't remember it being shown after Prime blew up the machine, so I assumed it was destroyed. I would say it was deliberately leftopen for TF3, but I doubt the writers are that smart.

Lets just say they forgot about it.

Well...isn't that just another huge plothole! Without the Matrix...how could they replenish Cybertron's energy, much less build new harvesting machines elsewhere?

I guess a new McGuffin will be needed for Transformers 3. -.-
