quite frankly i think we NEED and explaination of how the weapons work, and maybe a rejigging of the umbrella terms used to describe the damages

Are we ever going to see some of the abilities that make some of the canon characters stand out from the rest? Not gimmicks from the toys, but actual abilites, like Hound's hologram and Skywarp's teleportation?

How about a reason to join a certain faction (besides masochism and desperation to win) - faction specific abilities?
Autobot - Gains bonuses to hit and be missed when the total opponent combined hp is greater than you or your team (heroic)
Maximals - Gains bonuses the more team members are present in the mission (pack hunters)
Decepticons - I can't think of any right now, don't want it to be directly opposite the autobility
Predacons - Arena specialists. Gains bonuses in 2 on 2 or 1 on 1 combat. (stalker/hunter)
Autobot - Gains bonuses to hit and be missed when the total opponent combined hp is greater than you or your team (heroic)

Whilst I like that idea (and have come up with similer ideas myself) the problem is it'd be very hard to properly balance, especilly on a game which isnt exactly perfectly ballenced as it is.

Last I heard, the official stance on Triplechangers was 'possibly in the future'
*edit* I would like to see Bot modes return, even if they don't do anything yet. I just liked having a robot mode for my character there.
And I would like the little blobs of color to have a little more detail. Whatever happened to using the hi-res looking blobs?

Wouldn't a triple changer just be, say, a starfighter except that it 'transforms' into a jet to avoid and a tank to strafe?

Jets can strafe. Most likely it could avoid and strafe as a jet and ram and strafe as a tank. Or have one of those nifty new tactics that have been in the pipes for a while.
Someone really needs to call a plumber about all the backed up stuff in HMW.

We've been filling up a bunch of them today and winning most of them. Though I do admit, my definition of "a bunch of them" is still less than half - we just don't have the numbers to fill up every single one you guys can generate. The problem is that Con players can push generate those Maximal missions. If only we could push generate them, there'd be a lot less of them and possibly a lot more of them would be full.

As far as I'm concerned, there's too many "Cons for life." The game would be a lot more fun for everyone, including yourselves, if you guys spread out a bit amongst the factions.
I strongly considered going Con myself, because it sounded like fun, but in the end I kind of saw this coming and saw little point in it. You guys really don't need me while the Maximals definitely do.

i don't think whoever's doing it is really "playing for the team", but none the less if you wanted to face either bots or preds you'd generate missions until you got one via the bots or preds, leaving a huge wake of max/con missions generated.
why else would you get so many con/max missions with nigh the same start time?
