And yes, the non chrome version kind of looks brownish.

Try this:

I'm copy pasting the link...............still the same.
Search Megatron G1. Setting 50 items per page. Its Page 3, 5th from the bottom.
Not Encore #6, TFC (Transformers Collection)#6 Megatron, I got one for a hundred bucks a few years back and it's honestly the best version of the toy out there. Comes with every accessory that G1 Megatron's ever come with, an energon mace, and a few nice extras.-Kanrabat- wrote: "Transformers Encore #6" gave me everything but Megatron.

Edit:
Unfortunately, a quick look on ebay found only two of them, and they're both a lot more than I'd recommend paying for them. Honestly though, if you're looking for a G1 Megatron, the TFC #6 is the best version out there, and I'd recommend holding off until you found one at a good price, just to make sure you get the best one you can.

Maybe yours refuse to ship to Canada anyway. The cheapest I could find is 150$ for a open one. Plus shipping and customs. The rest is 200$+. So, nope.
As I said above, E-Hobby Black Megs may be the best and cheapest alternative. Anyone selling for less than 80$ plus ship?

fenrir72 wrote:Anyway, good luck with that Quantum Megatron armor version watchamacalit. Iirc, the fiction behind him has Megatron carrying some traces of BW Megatron "monkeying" pardon the pun, with the time stream when he tried to kill the stasis locked Optimus Prime and he stole G1 Megatron's spark.
10000% agree. every serious collector needs a proper megatron and prime.Rodimus Prime wrote:Those are both very nice, as is TFC#6. However, I think with an iconic character/toy like him, it's worth the extra cash for an original G1, as long as it's not insane like $300. I'd pay about $180-200 for 1. Same with G1 Prime. Those are probably the only 2 toys I would do this for. But I think Megatron deserves that much respect.

personally, i have new years convoy (blue eyes, blue windows, diecast matrix) and bought a KO energy axe ala TFC #0. perfect G1 prime. megatron is wayy easier, simply buy TFC #6.
obtaining TFC #6 for a decent price is not impossible (even for a fellow canadian). even though i own one, i was searching for a second one a little while ago simply for a second mace (it fits in classics megatrons hand BTW) and ultimately decided i didnt need it right now. but i did find a few (opened but mint/complete) for about 100-150 shipped. for the character, and for a reissue of that quality, it is worth the time and money.
theres no such thing as a TF emergency
be patient, stalk ebay, and snag a TFC #6. you will NOT regret it.
