I thought all of the Club and BotCon toys were outside of Hasbro's design team?
Rodimus Prime wrote:Hasbro didn't have plans for the toys at the time, because the Stunticons were way down the line in the story. But after the series got cancelled, the toys got made (rather, repainted) as the BotCon set. This is according to Derek Wyatt, with whom I chatted at last year's BotCon. He told me there were plans to continue the series in comic form. Maybe it was wishful thinking on his part.
