What was the 2007 movie's main selling point?
I've heard all about why 'Transformers' sucks or why it should suck and I'm sick of it.
I'd like to hear what was good about the film for once. I would mostly like to know what makes people keep coming back to watch it.

I would say the amazing CGI and action scenes. The last 30 minutes of this movie is some of the best action and CGI I've ever seen.

Hearing Transformers talk in a real world setting, and everything about Prime. Well, all of them. everything was great. The build up to some bot scenes was great too. I actually really liked the autobot arrival scenes as well, protoforms for the win!

Good cgi and lots of mindless, popcorn eating, coke drinking, bob bob buying , holding you pee until a boring scene comes action

Now, most of us grew up with Transformers in one way or another (G1, Beast Wars, etc), and the opportunity to see our heroes on the big screen, in a REAL-LIFE setting is just too good to pass up on...

For me it made me feel like a kid again. Being a collector all these years, I got to see a ton a variations of TFs over the years. But the only incarnations of TFs that had this effect on me was G1 and the live action movie.

"Consider the knowledge dropped."
From ToplessRobot.com:• "Watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is marginally better than sh***ing your pants, but it takes a lot longer." Very well put.

Same. I gave away my massive TF collection when I was 15. So eighteen years later I started buying them again! (Well, the movie ones, that is.)
Yeah, it did get me to buy toys.
Same here, i collect only Classics and Movie toys.
