I bought one to see what's up. They're kinda cool. Definitely different from Transformers, though.
There's a robot contained within the vehicle. The exterior panels of the vehicle come apart and attach to the robot in various pegs. I think there is some variability in where one wants to put the panels.
I liked the look of the trucks, but $20 was a little much to test one out. Now that I have a car, and if the movie toys are still a bit off, I might get the Hummer version.

(I answer to Ag or Ags. Agamemnon is too long to type. Plus, there is something elemental about calling me Ag.

Question: what are these REVs? I haven't heard of them, nor have I seen them in my area.

Hold up, one of the character's names is "Six Gun."
And that black truck's robot mode reminds me of movie Ironhide.
Some of these are moderately interesting, but I wouldn't get any of them.

i picked one up. the inner robot is freaking cool, they coulda sold that individualy and ida probbably got it. the vehicles are pull back, rev forward types, and not too bad, but the armor attachment is pretty wonky
i reworked the one i picked up a little bit, and now he could pass for movie cliffjumper. if you collect things other then tfs, and have the shelf space, they arent bad. otherwise, i wouldnt recomend them.

They look sort of like a cross between Sigma 6 and TFs to me. Could be cool.

There was a thread like this a while back. I've seen these monstrocities sitting by the transformers practically everywhere for months and recently saw a commercial the other day. I think Playmates knows how bad the movie will fail and they plan to soak up the money of those who say "Yuck!" to it. Quite ingenious, actually.
