That's true, however I don't think you can use Grimlock as an effective bench mark in this instance. Now, by the time Grimlock first meets Wheelie, the writers had already began the transformation of Grimlock's character dynamic, changing it dramatically from 'serious hardcore bad ass' to 'a little light comic relief'.
So even taking your point into consideration, I still feel wheelie would get a proper kicking off Brawn
