So when is he coming back? I specifically remember Mkall mentioning it when he posted that news report on the future of HMW. Anyone know? I'm sure he'd make a great addition to the Preds.

He's been told he's been unbanned, but they have yet to actually lift the ban on him.

Mkall can't unban him yet can he?

Wouldn't it be a wise decision to ask CB (or someone else with the same level of power) to remove him from the list?

Goribus' acount is reinstated, but his user name is on the banned list still, so he still cant use it.

It is something CB has to do, and seeing as he has long ago decided he dosnt like Gor, we could be in for a wait...

I know the switch over to phhhhpABC3.978668a screwed alota stuff up, but how long can they hide behind that as a reason why they(the staff) can't do basic board functions.

Fact is certain members of the staff don't want him back and are draggin their feet bringing him back.
Or you could take the more cynical view (which I do) that Goribus was told that he was unbanned only to placate those of us that were trying to get him back.
Unfortunatly it worked for a while :MAD:

Sorry guys, this is it, and this the absolutely last time I want to state this. As much as some of us (including some staff members) want Goribus to come back, those with the fingers on the ban buttons won't bring him back.

I said I wanted to bring him back, and that got overruled. There's not much I can do about it. Yeah I could complain, but where would that get me? Nowhere. I've said all I could say, vouched for him and all that, but in the end it's not my call. The call's been made and the ban stays. Being sorry after the fact doesn't mean jack all.

You guys want an explanation, here it is: Goribus was banned for behaviour during OS's tenure. Just because OS leaves doesn't mean bans get lifted.

Any further communication about this issue to any staff member demanding further explanation or asking to re-open the issue will result in disciplinary action.

Sorry gang, and Goribus, but this is how it is.
