Beast Machines Rattrap. His animation model had wheels instead of legs (but alas, his toy gave him legs too. Though, his McDonald's toy had wheels only).

Well this was originally aimed twards characters that don't have legs. Didn't really say anything about the lack of feet. While Rattrap, Tankor, Sideways, and Sideswipe don't have any actual feet in their animation models they do still have seperated legs as apposed to others that have been mentioned who only have one unified leg for lack of any better way to describe it.
Um, those are not legs he has, those are just axles.

(Referring to Robot Mode. His Beast Mode does have legs, but those don't count for this.)

Whaddya mean sideways has no feet? Then what's he standing on?

And here's his toy, btw.

And Deluxe Class Sideswipe

There's a basic version which was sold as nothing more than a drone but was actully more show accurate than the larger Tankor toy and doesn't have normal legs.
It was redecoed and used as the real Tankor in the Beast Wars Returns toyline.

While they may actully be axles they are allso legs. He even has a verry defined hip which they attach to and they in no way connect to eachother. Hench dispite how they're formed they are technically his legs. They're no less legs than Tankor with his backwards bending knees.

That's probly an older concept design. The Sideways that actully appears in the movie has wheels just like Sideswipe. The first time I watched the movie in verry low quality I couldn't even tell the two of them appart from eachother. What it looked like was that Sideways was never in robot mode and I thought the robot mode I did see was that of Sideswipe chaceing him. Watching in high quality I noticed what was acutully happening was that Sideways was in robot mode when he crashed threw the appartment building and was roller bladeing when he landed on the other side before transforming back to vehicle mode. Basically in low quality it's easy to assume that any time you see a roller bladeing robot that it's Sideswipe but both of them were doing it.

You mean the Japanese toy toy line. Haven't you learned by now that I only talk about the American stuff. :P And that's not because I have anything agenst Japan or think the US is better, it's just out of convienace. :P Easier and cheaper to get toys closer to home.

He hasn't any other concept art. And his appearances elsewhere (like in the video game) match his look in that design:

I never said anything about buying, I was just acknowledging its existence cuz it looks awesomely show-accurate (size-accuracy aside).

But doesn't match how he appeared in the movie. The toy I noticed at least has wheels on his heels which is probly more accurate than that design from the game that doesn't seem to have any wheels at all in his feet.

Sideways has feet. He clearly takes steps (you can hear his stomps), then dives into the building, rolls out, gets back up, then takes a few more steps while transforming back into a car. No 'rollerblading' at all.

It looked to me like he dove through the building in robot mode, somersaulted on the ground, then transformed. I didn't see any wheel feet.

You can take steps with wheels you know. Just because you have wheels for feet doesn't mean you can't lift one wheel off the ground and put it back down there by takeing a step. He looked like he was rolling or glideing when he ran in robot mode same as how Sideswipe moves.

I don't see any wheel feet on Bonecrusher either but I'm sure no one has any doubt that he was roller bladeing in the first movie.

Yeah, but that was a clear shot. Sideways was in robot mode for about 2 seconds where he jumped through a building, tumbled, then transformed.

You can clearly see Bonecrusher's wheel feet when he's falling off the bridge. And when he stomps his foot right after he transforms. And Optimus Prime sort of kicks it while stepping over Bonecrusher after killing him. And he's obviously rollerblading, not walking.

Sideways only takes a few steps (never rollerblades at all), but from what I can tell, he has feet.

The rest of Sideway's matches his art and game appearance and toys, I don't know why they'd change just his feet.

Who? Bonecrusher or Sideways?

Bonecrusher's toy has toed feet that can convert into skating wheels:

While Sideways' toy has normal tiny feet with wheels dragging behind them.
