To say someone is retarded for preferring the former instead of the latter is uncalled for and ignorant. Also, all of your "examples" are nothing more than your opinions, not fact. I'm sure there are a lot of people who feel Fortress Maximus has been surpassed, maybe not in size but in other ways.
Hardly.
Fortress Maximus has not even been attempted in any way shape or form. He is still the best City former ever.
Every main line release of Soundwave has had notable flaws. Titanium Soundwave is better? Cybertron Soundwave is better (kibble and collapsable knee included)?
May I remind you where this came from, this whole discussion?
All Generation 1 toys (with 1 or 2 exceptionms) are ugly as sin. They are unposeable bricks with way off proportions.
This all started because of this statement.
You can have your opinion, you can like one thing over another, but when you have no support or basis for your opinion, it become subject to criticism that does not even have to be bridled by simple niceties.
You were right to call me on inferring that people who would choose classics Grimlock over G1 as being retarded (although, ‘ignorant’ doesn’t really apply here). I obviously didn’t mean it; it was part of a larger point. However, in my defense, or “opinion” (since we’re all so concerned about preserving other people’s opinions) I did have a point. Much in contrast to “all of this sucks”.
I would have jumped all over someone who in contrast had said that all of the new toys are garbage in much a similar fashion.
There is no debate, no discussion, and certainly no thought put in to, “This sucks entirely, it’s all garbage.”
